Price Dickson, Peal, Sanders, Shookand Ucker. ri Minutes of the regular meeting of Nov. 21st were read and approved. The following bills were presented* after their approval by alderman Peal, chairman of the auditing comm(ittee: Jackson Cafe $4.15,Lyle Allen $15.75,.Ross Seasley $$1.20, Ben Porter $17.50, Bud Collins $10.00, Elmer Boyd $6,00, A,F,Shumate $22.50, Billie Wilcox $12.00, Otto Shumate $9.00. Alderman Bronson made a motion that the bill be allowed,as approved, and the Clerk be instructed to draw waerants for the same upon the proper funds, seconded by alderman Carter, which was passed unaimously by the Coun The Committee appointedd Nov.14th to investigate the proposition of requiring the annu vaccination of dogs in the City, to prevent Rabies , made an unfavorable report, Alderman Bronson made a motion that the reporrothe committe be received and the committee discharged, alderman Gregory seconded the motion, which was duly passed by the council. n The Mayor announced the Appointment of Dr.Roy J.Turner as City Health Officer Up fill a vacancy caused by the death of Dr.A.S.Gregg) , subject to the approval of the Council, alderman Gregory made a motion that the Council approve the action of the Mayor in making the appointment, seconded by alderman Bronson, which received the unanimous vote of t% Council. Alderman Peal made a motion that the Council go into executive session, seconded by alderman Shook,which received the unanimous vote of the Counull and the Mayor declared) the Council in executive session, after discussion of various administeative affairs J alderman Shook made a motion that Council go out of executive session, seconded by alder- man Carter, which received the unanimous vote of the Council, and the Mayor declared the Council in regular session. There being no further business, alderman Bronson moved to adjourn ,seconded by a derman Hosford, which was duly passed by the Council., and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned. Present: Mayor, A.D.McAllisters City C1erk,J.W.McGehee, City Attorney, Price Dickson, City Engineer, E.T.Brown, Alderman Bronson, Carter, Gregory, Hosford, Peal, Sanders, Shook and Ucker. Minutes of the regular meeting of Nov.28th were read and approved. The following bills were X"d'XP1& XKX presented, after their approval by alderman Peal, chairman of the auditing committee: Ozark Grocery Co. $5.40,S.W.Gas & Electric Co. $339 $13,69, and 17.799 Ark.Western Gas Co. $52.53 and x$17.89, Jackson Cafe $3.25,J.5helley Ross Seasly 10.50,Fayetteville Tire Exchange $0.35, Ben Porter $17050,Bud Collins $12. Elmer Boyd x$11.00, Arthur Cassatt $18.51, A.F.Shumate $22.50, Billie Wilcox $$12,00 and Otho Shumate $12.00. AldermanUcker made a motion that the bills be allowed as approved, and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for the same upon the proper funds, second by alderman Bronson, which was passed unanimously by the Uouncil, 55 2.75 0, The following reports for November were read by the Clerk: J.C.Massie ,as Police Judge, Earl Hand, as Acting Chief of Police, J.W.McGehee as City Collector and as City Clerk. Alderman Gregory made a motion that the reports be received and filed, seconded by aldermgn Hosford, which was duly passed by the Council. I Alderman Gregory made a motion that the Sewer Committee and City Attorney, together with the Mayormake an investigation of all papers or reports available,. relative to thel operation of Sewer Improvement District No.l, and report back to the Council next Monday Night. alderman Ucker seconded the motion, which received the unanimous vote of the Council. Alderman Gregory made a motion that City Engineer, E.T.Brown, be,perm tted to perform the duties as Engineer for Paving District no. 47 and for one more�'rsh�oKtld it be\ approved, but f more than two should be approved, then itistht unders ood.that an out of town Engineers a secured to take charge of the work, seconded by al erman Sanders, and in roll call by the Clerk was passed unanimously. There being no further business, alderman Ucker moved to adjourn, seconded by alderman Bronson, which was duly passed by the Council; and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned.
