Fayetteville City Council met in regular session Monday Nov. 28th, 1938.
•esent: Mayor, A.D.McAllister, City Clerk, J.W.McGehee, City Attorney, Price Dickson,
City Engineer, E.T.Brown, Aldermen; Bronson, Carter, Gregory, Hosford, Peal, Sanders,
Shookand Ucker.
Minutes of the regular meeting of Nov. 21st were read and approved.
The following bills were presented. after their approval by alderman Peal, chairman
of the auditing commdttee: Jackson Cafe $4.15,Lyle Allen $15.75,_Ross Seasley $1.20,
Ben Porter 17.50, Bud Collins $10.00, Elmer Boyd $6,00, A.F.Shumate $22.509
Billie Wilcox 912.00, Otto Shumate $9.00. Alderman Bronson made a motion that the bi
be allowed,as approved, and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for the same upon
the proper funds, seconded by alderman Carter, which was passed unaimously by the Council.

There being no further business, alderman Bronson moved to adjourn ,seconded by al
derman Hosford, which was duly passed bji the Council., and the Mayor declared the
Council adjourned.

The following reports for November were read by the Clerk: J.C.Massie ,as Police
Judge, Earl Hand, as Acting Chief of Police, J.W.McGehee as City Collector and as City Clerk.
Alderman Gregory made a motion that the reports be received and filed, seconded by aldeimYn
Hosford, which was duly passed by the Council.
Alderman Gregory made a motion that the Sewer Committee and City Attorney, together
with the Mayormake an investigation of all papers or reports available, -relative to the operation
of Sewer Improvement District No.l, and report back to the Counvil next Monday Night.
alderman Ucker seconded the motion, which received the unanimous vote of the Council.
Alderman Gregory made a motion that Bity Engineer, E.T.Brown, be• erm tted to

There being no further business, alderman Ucker moved to adjourn, seconded by
alderman Bronson, which was duly passed by the Council; and the Mayor declared the
Council adjourned.
