Alderman Hosford made a motion that the Water Committee be authorized to to purchase purchase a Billing Machine for the Water Department, after working out details as Billling discussed by the Council, alderman Ucker seconded the motion,which was passed unani- Macliine mously by the Council. A Resolution of respect on the death of Dr.A.S.Gregg was introduced by alderman Sanders, chairman of the Committee appointed for that purpose, and moved its adoption, alderman Bronson seconded the motion, which MR received the unanimous vote of the Council. ,k RESOLUTION 'I WHEREAS, in the passmng Of Dr.A.S.Gregg, the City of Fayetteville, has lost Resolution on passing of an efficient public servant, and the residents og Fayetteville and Washington County, Dr. AiS.Gregg,. a tried and true friend; and WHEREAS, Dr.A.S.Gregg has served in an official capacity as an alderman and Ciby Health Officer for many years and was at the time of.his passing, the City Health Officer; and WHEREAS, Dr. Gregg gave of his time,skill and knowledge unselfishly and without thought of personal profit in order that he might carry out his conception of the ethics of a noble profession; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fayetteville that we acknowledge our appreciation of the diligent and faithful performance of a publ duty exemplified by Dr. Gregg's services to yhe City of Fayetteville; that in the passi of Dr. Gregg,the City of Fayetteville has lost a public servant in the true sense; that condolence be extended to members of the bereaved family.
