Alderman Ucker made a motion that the bills be allowed,as approved, and that the City Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for the same upon the proper funds, the motion was seconded by alderman Bronson, and was duly passed by the Council. A communication was read from the Washington Co. Fair Committee, requesting that Council dispense with all special fees and licenses for all coneessionss connected with) Special the Fair, to be held October IOth tO I5th inclusive, alderman Gregory moved that the privelegesrequest be granted, seconded by alderman Carter, and on roll call by the Clerkswas Passed dispensed unanimously by the Council. fI'llor y_ I Alderman Peal, chairman of the auditing committee#reported that they had examined County the final report of the commissioners of paving district No.35 and found the same to be (Fair. correet,showing that all bonds had been.rddeemed, and filed with the City Clerk. and all monies collected had been properly accounted for, and all cancelled checks had Final report been returneel, and moved that the report be received and the Commissioners discharged, alderman Hosford seconded the motion, which was duly passed by the Council. of, Paving; No further business appearing, alderman meal moved to adjourn,seconded by District alderman Hosford,.which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the No. 35 Council adjourned. X The following reportsv/wereli read by the C1efk; Clyde Walters, as Fire Chief and as City Building Inspectors J.C.Massies as Police Judge, Earl Hand Sept. as acting Chief of Police, Roy Nix , as Sewer Service Collector and J.W.McGehee as Reports City Collector and as City Clerk. Alderman Shook made a motion that the reports be received and filed, alderman Ucker seconded the motion, which was passed unanimausly by the Council. Alderman Shook made a motion that the Council.go into executive session, seconded by alderman Ucker, which was passed unanimously, and the Mayor declared the Council to executive session, after discussion.of various administrative affairs, alderman Hosford made a motion that the Council go.out of -executive session, seconded by aldermanPeal which was passedunanimously, and the Mayor declared the Council in regular session 't9 ed being no further business, aldermarivmoved to adjourn, secondedN by alder- man Gregory which was passed unanimously, and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned ATTEST APPROVED /a.� er Mayor. sI
