Fayrtteville City Council met in regular session, Monday Oct. 3rd, I938,
Present: Mayor A.D.McAllister, City Clerk, J.W.McGehee, City Attorney, Price Dickson,
Present. City Engineer. � E.T.Brown__and Alderme�t,; ycardty, Gregory, Hosford, Peal,Sanders,

The minutes of the regular meeting of Sept. the 26th were read and approved.
The following bills were presented, after their approval , by alderman Peal , chairman
of the auditing committee; Rogers Electric Co. $I.54, Fayetteville Printing Co. $%XnxX

Alderman Ucker made a motion that the bills be allowed,as
approved, and that the City Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for the same upon the
proper funds, the motion was seconded by alderman Bronson, and was duly passed by the
C ounc i"l .
A communication was read from the Washington Co. Fair Committee, requesting tha
Council dispense with all special fees and licenses for all concessions, connected with
Special the Fair, to be held October IOth tO I5th inclusive, alderman Gregory moved that the
prive legesrequest be granted, seconded by alderman Carter, and on roll call by the Clerk,was Pass,
dispensed unanimously by the Council,

alderman Hosford seconded the motion, which was duly passed by the Council.

Alderman .Gregory made a motion that the bills be
allowed, as approved, and that the City Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for the
same upon the proper funds, the motion was seconded by alderman Shook and was duly
passed by the Council.

Alderman Shook made a motion that the reports be
received and filed, alderman Ucker seconded the motion, which was passed unanimously
by the Council.

seconded by alderman Ucker, which was passed unanimously, and the Mayor declared
the Council In executive session, after discussion.of various administrative affairs,
alderman Hosford made a motion that the Council go.out of-exeoutive session, seconded
