Minutes of the regular meeting held P:Iarch 28, 1938, were read and approved.
The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of

moved that the bills -be allowed as approved and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrant
for same upon the proper fund. Alderman Gregory seconded the motion which received the
entire vote of the Council present and the Mayor so declared. `
A report of the City Water Plant was presented for March. Alderman Gregory moved that
the report be received and filed. Alderman Peal seconded the motion which carried.
A reduction in water NXXLXX rates for sprinkling was discussed. No action was taken.
Alderman Gregory moved that the Bill of $103.85 for holding City General Election
April 5th, 1938, be allowed. Alderman Ucker seconded the motion which carried.
Conditions at the City dump grouddwas discussed. Alderman Gregory moved that the Stree
Committee investigate cdnditions at the city dump ground with power to act. Alderman
Peal seconded the motion which carried unanimously.
The matter of collecting rent by XM Commissioner J. A. Peterson in Water Improvement
District No. 2 was called to the attention of the @ouncil. After discussion Alderman
Sanders moved that the matter be referred to the Water Committee and the City Attorney
Alderman Gregory seconded the motion which was duly passed by the Council.
The matter of tires for City truck was brought to the attention of the Council by the
Chairman of the Street Committee, Alderman Sanders,who read bids on 6 tires from a
number oY companies. Alderman Hosfard moved that the matter be referred to the Street
Committee with power to act. Alderman Carter seconded the motion which received the
unanimous vote of the Council present:
A request from Evergreen Cemetery Ass'n asking something on concrete work done on West
side of University Street was presented. Alderman Sanders moved that $25.00 be allowed
Alderman Hosford seconded the motion which carried unanimously.

passed by the Council and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned.
