Pierce, present City Engineer, that beginning the first day of January, 1938, as a matter of economy and expediency, the office of City Engineer will be combined with that of the Water Superintendent, and al duties of the City Engineer will be henceforth performed by the Water Superintendent, and that Mr. Pierce be extended tho thanks of the City Council for the efficiency of his tenure in office and for the fine manner in which he has cooperated with the City Administtation in the performance of his duties as City Engineer.
