City Engineer C. E. Pierce, Aldermen: Bronson, Carter, Gregory, Hosford, Peal, Sanders Shook and Ucker. Minutes of the regular meeting Meld November 1,1937,were read and approved. Bills: The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of the Auditing Committee: Jackson Cafe $4.10;Rogers Elec Co. $2.81; Lyle Allen $1.00; Northwest Arkansas Time $3.00; Southwest Gas & Else Co. $9.33; Emmett Boyd 4.00; Ben Porter $p17.50; Truman Lehman $12.00; M. S. Gabbard $'l.96; Robt Dearing 85.00; Bud Drain $5.00; A. F. Shumate $$22.50: Alderman Gregory moved that the bills be allo- ed as approved and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for same upon the proper funds. This motion was seconded by Alderman Hosford and received the unanimous vote of the Council and the Mayor so declared. Alderman Sanders moved that this matter be referred to the Server Committee with instructions to investigate and report to Council. This motion rwasi_sedonded.c: byn= Alderman Carter and was unanimously passed by the Council. Audit The matter of Audit\of City Records for 1937 and 1938 was discussed. A letter from 1937-38 R. C. Frambers & Co., offering to do the work for $250.00 for the two years was read. Alderman Sanders moved that the Mayor be instructed to employ Frambers and Company at the price named $125.00 per year for the two years.This motion was seconded by Alderman Bronson and received the unanimous vote of the Council. There being no further business, Alderman Bronson moved to adjourn, seconded by Alderman Hosford and carried unanimously, and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned ADproved Mayor Fayetteville City Council met in regular session Monday, November 15th, 1937. ent; (Mayor A. F. Shumate $22.50, H. L. Tuck Super Service 41p2.01, The Automotive, Inc. 32,94, Alderman Hosford moved that the bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for same upon the proper funds. Alderman Ucker seconded the motion which carried unanimously. The matter of the Firemen's Training School spomsored by Arkansas Municipal League to be held in Little Rock was brought to the attention of the Council. After discussion Alderman Sanders moved that the Fire Chief and one day man attend this meeting at the expense of the City. Alderman Peal seconded the motion which.received tha entire vote of the Council present and the Mayor so declared. A letter from J. H. MicIlroy was presented stating that unsanitary conditions exist on the East end of the Stone Block and asking that this be corrected. Alderman Carter moved that the Mayor appoint a Committee to contact Mir. Mcllroy relative to the matter and report back. Alderman Hosford seconded the motion which carried unanimously. The Mayor named the Street Committee to act in this capacity. No further business Alderman Hosford moved to adjourn.
