Pierce, Aldermen: Bronson, Carter,Grepry, Hosford, Peal, Sanders, Shook and Ucker. Absent: City Clerk Otoe Philips an d City City Attorney Price Dickson. P,Iinutes of the previous meeting held Monday August•23;1937 were read and approved. Bills: The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of the Auditing Committee: J. ". Shelley $26.25; Iswis Bros. Co. $26.74;Silverman Bros., q85.00; Ske lley Oil Co. $61.26; T.J. S. Gabbard $4.07; Emmett Dbyd Qy6.00; Ben Porter Q17.50; A. F. Shumate $20.00;Skelley Oil Company X6.48. Alderman Ucker moved that the bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants upon the proper funds in payment of same. This motion was seconded by AldermanBronson and was duly passed by the Council, and theMayor so declared. xecutive' Alderman Shook moved that the Council go into Executive Session, seconded by Alderman ession: Peal, and carried unanimously, and the Mayor declared the Council in Executive Session. After discussion of various matters, Alderman Bronson moved that t he Council go out of Executive Session. Nays: Alderman Sanders and Ucker. The Mayor declared carried as there were six Ayes and two Nays. Lending Alderman Gregory moved that the number of members of the Board of Managers of the 1dinance City i-fater Board be changed from six to five and that the Ordinance Committee be No.666 instructed to prepare an amendment to Ordinance Number 666, changing the number to five and further specifying the duties and requirements of the Board, seconded by Alderman Hosford, and upon the motion being put before the Council, the following vote resulted: Ayes: Bronson, Carter, Gregory, Hosford, Peal, Shook and Ucker. Nays: Sanders. Attest: City Cie k Approved:a •04 Mayor Fayetteville City Council met Monday 8:00 P M September 6,1937. The meeting was called to order by the Mayor. In the absence of the City Clerk,Alderma Bronson was. named .to act -as Clerk. Alderman Peal suggested the absence of a quorum. Upon roll call by the Clerk, the following aldermen answered present: Bronson, tiosford and Peal. Absent barter, Gregory, Sanders, Shook and Ucker. The Mayor declared that then was an absence of a quorum. Alderman Peal moved that the meeting be adjourned to Septerr 711937, at 10:00 A M., which motion :miss seconded by Alderman Holford. Upon roll call, tY following Alderman voted Aye: Bronson, Hosford and Peal. Absent and not voting: Carter, Gregory, Sanders, Shook and Ucker.
