Fayetteville City Council met in regular session Monday, June 21st, 1937.
Present; Mayor A. D. MacAllister, City Clerk vtoe Phillips, City Attorney Price Dickson, Aldermen
Bronson, Carter, Pea]., Sanders, Shook, and Ucker. Absent; City Engineer C. E. Pierce,
Aldermen Gregory and Hosford.
Minutes of the regular meeting held June 14th, 1937, were read and approved.
Bills; The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of
the Auditing Committee; Jackson Cafe $11.15, H. W. Armstrong 14.40, H. C. Moore $$5.20,
Bossemeyer & McBride $60.30, Jas Bohannon $12.00, Ben Porter 17.50, Ross Seasley
$}5.50, George Reinlds $0.75, S'kelley Oil Co. $46.86, A. F. Shumate $x22.50, Skelly Oil
Co. $$5.62. Alderman Carter moved that the bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk
be instructed to draw warrants for same upon the proper funds. Alderman Ucker seconded
the motion which carried unanimously and the Ma,ycr so declared.
Reports The following reports for the Month of May were presented; Clyde Walters as Building
of Inspector, Otoe Phillips as City Clerk and as City Collector. Alderman Bronson. moved
that the reports be received and filed. Alderman Peal seconded the motion which re -
May: ceived the entire vote of the Council present.
Several residents of the City who own cows were present asking for information regard-
ing current rumors as to keeping cotes within the �itv limits. The matter was referred
to the.`'ity Health Officer.
R.B.Scot� R. B. Scott appeared before the Council stating that he wished to erect a residence on

Alderman Bronson moved that Williams Street be opened after Jan.
1st, 1938,
or sooner if
possible. Alderman Carter seconded the motion which received

Council present.
Due to the absence of the Chairman of the Ordinance Committee no report was given as
to the Building (lode dance. Alderman Sanders moved that the Ordinance Committee
make a reportA o r 9" t on a study of a Building Code Ordinance. Alderman Peal
seconded th otion which carried unanimously and the Mayor so declared.
:base The need of a pick-up truck for use in the Street Department was brought to the atten-
:-up tion of the Council. After discussion Alderman Peal made a motion that the Street
,k: Committee be empowered to purchase a second-hand pick-up truck at a cost not to exceed
$$100.00. The motion was seconded by Alderman Bronson and carried unanimously.
No further business Alderman Sanders moved to adjourn. The motion was seconded by
Alderman Bronson and duly passed by the Council and the Mayor declared the Council
adjourned.

Alderman Bronson moved that the bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk be instruct

The matter of keeping cows in the City was again discussed. By motion of Alderman San-
ders, seconded by Alderman Hosford, and duly passed by the Council, the City Attorney
was instructed to prepare an Ordinance amending existing Ordinances on this subject
