McAllister, City Clerk Otoe Phillips, City Attorney Price Dickson, City Engineer C. Be Pierce, Aldermen Bronson, Carter, Gregory, Hosford, Peal, Sanders, Shook and Ucker. Minutes of the regular meeting held March 15th, 1937, were read. and approved. Bills; The following bills were presented after -their anoroval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of the Auditing Committee; Frisco Ry $34.67, Winkelmans Print Shop $4.08, Bohe Gro. tj2.76 Boyce Cafe $5.25, Ark. F. Shumate $22.50, Ellis Pool 412.00. Alderman Gregory moved that the bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for same upon the proper funds. Alderman Bronson seconded the motion which carried unanimously and the Mayor so declared. uricipal The matter of paying Municipal League dues for one ,year was discussed. Alderman Hos_ League: ford moved that dues be paid for six months. Alderman Bronson seconded the motion. On the Clerks calling the roll the following vote resulted; Ayes; Bronson, Gregory, Hosford, Peal, and Shook.. Nays; Carter, Sanders and Ucker. The Mayo declared carried' as there were 5 Ayes and 3 Nays. Cleanup 'leek; Mayor McAllister called the attention of the Council to the matter of annual cleanup week. After discussion Alderman Ucker made a motion that $50.00 be set aside for ex- pense of hauling and that Mayor McAllister be authorized to set the date. Alderman Carter seconded the motion which carried unanimously. Aumick L. 0. Aumick appeared before the Council stating That in January he purchased'a li- Truck cense for a lj� ton. truck and immediately traded the truck for a 3 ton truck without having used the license purchased. Alderman Ucker moved that; the Clerk be ordered to License refund the difference in price, $6.00, to Mr. Aumick. Alderman Sanders seconded the Transfer: motion which received the entire vote of the Council a -:d the Mayor so declared. Traffic Herman Tuck appeared before the Council relative to traffic congestion at the bus congesti •station on North College Ave., stating that it was a dangerous condition to the public (Herman as yell as interfering with the business of the Ozark Filling 'tation. Alderman Greg - Tuck) ory moved that the P+Iayor appoint a Committee to investigate these conditions, The mo- tion was seconded by Alderman Bronson and carried unanimously. The Mayor named Alder- men Gregory, Hosford, and Bronson to act in this capacity. No further business Alderman Sanders moved to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Alderman Ucker and duly passed by the Council and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned. Attest: _-! G� Approved; City C e Mayor. Alderman Sanders moved that the bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk be instruct- ed to draw arrante for same upon the proper funds. Alderman Ucker seconded the motion which carried unanimously and the Mayor so declared, Traffic Alderman Bronson of the Bus Station traffic congestion Committee reported that the congesti n Pus Station authorities were arranging to correct existing conditions. Budget The 1936 Budget was discussed. Alderman Sanders moved that further discussion be de- ferred till next regular meeting of the Council. Alderman Carter seconded the motion discussic�nwhich received the entire vote of the Council, No further business Alderman Bronson moved to adjourn. Alderman Hosford seconded the motion which was duly passed by the Council and the Mayor declared the Council adjourn- ed. Attest; Approved; Citi Clerk, ISayor.
