McAllister, City Attorney Price Dickson, City Engineer C. E. Pierce, Aldermen; Bronson, Carter, Gregory, Hosford, Peal, Sanders, Shook, and Ucker. Absent; City Clerk Otoe Phillips. Minutes of the regular meeting held December 21st, 1936, were read and approved. Bills; The following bil;s were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of the Auditing Committee; Otoe Phillips, Citr Clerk;(Freight) $1.30, Price Dickson (Stenographic services) $5.00, 0. N. Tucker $29.15, Frank Tucker $;12.00, S. Stuart $8.00, Robt Tucker $10.00, Will Morris $10.00, Earl Watts $10.00, C. S. Duagan $15.00, Fred Blackwell $10.00, Otoe Phillips, City Clerk,(J. C. Alderman Sanders moved that the bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for same upon the proper funds. Alderman Bronson seconded the motion which carried unanimously and the Mayor so de- clared. • A bid from Boyce Chili Parlor of 17 cents per meal for feeding City prisoners was received and filed. Sewer The matter of a sewer nuisance" on Boles StreetLWas brought to tho attention of the Nuisance: Council. After discussion Alderman Hosford made a motion that the Mayor appoint a Committee to contact the Sewer Commission for the purpose of working out plan for eliminating sewer nuisances in the City on lines originally installed by private citizens. The motion was seconded by Alderman Peal and carried unanimously. The Mayor appointed as members of this Committee Gregory, Bronson, and Peal. Alderman Bronson moved that the Council go into executive session. Alderman Shook seconded the motion which was duly passed by the Council and the Mayor declared the Council in executive session. After discussion of various matters Alderman. Carter moved that the Council go out of executive session. The motion:zs seconded by Alder- man Ucker and was duly passed by the Council and the Mayor declared the Council in regular session. Final settlement of WPA Sewer Disposal Project was discussed. Alderman Carter moved that the matter be referred to the Sewer Committee, City Attorney, and. City Engineer. The 6fotion was seconded by Alderman Shook and received the entire vote of the Council. Apnlication of R. E. Sharp for Car Marker was read. By motion of Alderman Sanders, seconded by Alderman Hosford. and duly passed by the Council, the application was ordered received and filed. Alderman Ucker made a motion that Sewer Service Charge checks for operating expenses be signed by Roy Nix, Sewer Service Collector, and countersigned by the Mayor; and letter authorizing signatures be forwarded to Citizens Bank. The motion was seconded by Alderman Gregory and carried unanimously. No further business Alderman Bronson moved to adjourn.
