Alderman.Carter moved that Judgment: the Clerk be instructed to draw warrant for the amount $400., seconded by Alderman Ucker and carried unanimously. The Health Officer., called attention of the Council to certain unsanitary conditions existing. After d!,,;,cussion,City Attorney, Price Dickson, stated that there was no City Ordinance givift- _the City power t act in this matter. Alderman Sanders moved that the ordinance Committee kx draw up new sanitary ordinance to meet present and anticipated needs; seconded by AldermaHosford and upon the question being put befor the Council resulted in a unanimous vote in favor of.same. McAllister, City Clerk Otoe Phillips, City Atty., Price Dickson, City Engineer C. E. Pierce. Aldermen: Bronson, Gregory, Peal, Shook and Ucker. Absent: Aldermen: Carter, Sanders and Hosford. Minutes of the previous meeting held August 24,1936 Were read and approved. The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of the Auditing Committee :Fred Eden $2.50; J. Shelley $50.00; Jim Gibson §12.00; A. F. Shumate $20.00; Ben Porter $17.50; Kenneth Edwards $17.50: Alderman Bronson moved that these bills.be allo.7ied as approved, and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for same upon the proper funds; seconded by Alderman Ucker and carried unanimously. Alderman Ucker moved that the Council meeting hour be changed to.7:30 P. M. from September 16t to.May 1st., seconded by Alderman Gregory and carried unanimously. Alderman Shook Chairman of the Finance Committee, reported that the Finance Committee reen-nmended that no change be made in Eldo Cole's salary. Alderman Bronson moved that this report be accepted,seconded by Alderman Peal, and carried unanimously. A-V/ P A Project relative to City Hospital sidewalk etc., was mentioned, and the question was raised as to whether the title to this property was vested in the City. Alderman Bronson moved that the Mayor appoint a Committee of three to investigate the ownership and title of City Hospital, seconded by Alderman Shook, and carried unanimously. The Mayor appointed on this Committee Alderman Bronson, Gregory and Peal. Alderman Ucker moved to adjourn, seconded by Alderman Bronson, and carried unanimous ly.
