E. Pierce. Aldermen Bronson, Carter, Gregory, Hosf ord, Peal, Sanders, Shook_ and Ucker. Absent: City Atty., Price Dickson. Minutes of the regular meeting July 20th,1936, were read and approved. Bills: The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of The Auditing Committee: Skelley Oil Company $41.90; Bohe Grocery $1.67; Fred Eden $5.00; FJ. W. Harrison $1.25; Geo. Waggoner yp10.00; Jim Gibson $12.00;, A. F. Shumate $20.00; Ben yorter $17.50; Alderman Bronson moved that these bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk instructed to issue warrants upon the proper funds in payment of same, seconded by Alderman Shook, and carried unanimously. June Reports for the month of June from City Clerk and City Inspector were read. Alderman Reports: Sanders moved that these reports be received and filed, seconded by Alderman Hosford and carried unanimously., est The Clerk read report of assessors of West Meadow Improvement District. No action eadow was taken as the District is in litigation.. A petition signed by four property owners ssess- in Block four (4) Original Town, asking that a 12 foot alley extending from Dickson to ent: Spring streets through this block,J.said Alley being shown on City Map, be opened. Paddock, stating that a fine of $1.00 for over -time parking had been incorrectly assessed, and asking that the Council order.:a refund of same. Alderman Gregory moved that the matter be referred to the Police Judge, seconded by Alderman Sanders and carried unanimously. City's The matter of•the City's insurance was presented and discussed. Alderman Ucker moved Insuranc :that thdi-Mayor appoint a committee of three to investigate the City',s.insurainde-;And report back .' seconded by Alderman Hosford, and carried unanimously. Alderman Carter moved that this matter be left. to ': the Mayor with power to act, seconded by Alderman Hosford, and carried unanimousl Earl Hand,LAoting�Chief of Police reported that while he was using W. E. Gregg's car o City's business,he had an accident which cost $7.00 to repair. Alderman Ucker moved that the City pay this $7.00, seconded by Alderman Peal, and carried unanimausly. Alderman Gregory moved that this permit be granted under 416 No supervision of City Engineer, seconded by Alderman Bronson, arnd carried unanimously. College: Tires foJ.It was brought to the attention of the Council that the Street truck needed new tires: Street I Alderman Bronson moved that the Street Committee be authorized to purchase tires for Truck: this truck, seconded by Alderman Hosford, and carried unanimously.
