Fayetteville City Council met in regular session Monday July 20,1936, 8; 00 P.M.
Present:) Mayor A. D. McAllister,City Clerk Otoe Phillips, Aldermen: Bronson, Gregory, Hosford,
Peal, Sanders, Shoop and Ucker.' Absent: City Attorney Price Dickson and Alderman
Carter.
Minutes of regular meeting July 13th, were read and approved.
Keep- Exceptions of J. H.McIlroy to action of City Council in instructing City Inspector

Billse The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of
the Auditing Committee: Magnolia Petroleum Co.,$�10.61; J. W. Shelley $18.00; C. E. Pie
Jim -Gibson $12.00; A. F. Shumate $20.00; Ben Porter $17.50. Alderman
Brunson moved that these bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk instructed to issi
warrants in payment of same upon the proper funds,seconded by Alderman Gregory and
carried unanimously.'

Nle, the B -G Company, a co -partnership of Kansas City consisting of Michael Goldman and
Peter F. Bono, do agree to sell and the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, through their
officially appointed representatives, Mr. 8'. K. Gregory and Mr. G. T. Sanders, do agree
to purchase the following materials as selected by the above mentioned parties, togethe
with their city architect, Mr. T. E. Shelton:

for the sum. of $17009 which sum is to be held in escrow in the Commerce Trust Company
of Kansas City, and to be paid to the B -G Gbmpany upon completion of the, loading of th
above material.
This price is FOB cars and trucks Kansas City in good condition, subject to the approva
in Kansas City of Mr Shelton.
This material is to be ready for inspection and loading and said City agrees to accept
delivery on or before July 217,1936.

Alderman Sanders moved that this bill be passed to the Board of Public Affairs for
their approval.. seconded by Alderman Peal, and upon the question being put before the
Council resulted in the following vote: Ayes: Alderman Bronson, Gregory, Hosford,
Peal, Sanders, Shook and Ucker. Nays: None. Absent and not voting Alderman Carter.
The Mayor declared carried.
Alderman Ucker moved that architect T. E. Shelton,go to Kansas City, expenses paid,
Sunday July 26th, to inspect loading of thio hierchandisd on cars, Kansas City, second-
ed by Alderman Bronson, and carried unanimously.
Ordi- Mayor McAllister reported that the WPA workers had completed the digest of Ci ty Ordinan
Nance ces as outlined by the City Planning Co mmission, and that binding these sheets into
Digest Judge
sets, one each for the City Planning Board, the Mayor, the City "':C�e:, and Police
Judge would cost approximately $30.00. Alderman Sanders moved that the Mayor be
findings authorized to buy equipment for these new Ordinance books, seconded by Alderman Gregory
etc.- and carried unanimously.
No further business,Alderman Sanders moved to adjourn, seconded by Alderman Hosford, an
carried unanimously, and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned.
