J. l"lilso.n with reference to the obtaining of a right -of -Way across the lands of R. J. Wilson,in the construction of an land over -pass over the Frisco Railroad on West Maple st in the City of Fayetteville, and greement.4 WHEREAS, it was a part of the agreement that certain shrubs located on land to be taken by the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,as a right-of-way were to be moved and trans- planted and, WHEREAS,it was further agreed that the side -walk and the wall would be replaced in its new location without expense to the said R. J. Wilson,and that said City of Fayettevill would pay to the said R. J. Nilson the sum of $500.00 for his damage. NOVI THEREFORE, Be it resolved that the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,through its prope officers,pay to the said R. J. Wilson, the sum of $500.00 in full and complete satisfac tion of all damages which he may sustain by reason of the taking of lands more particul ly described in a deed executed by the said R. J. Wilson to the City of Fayetteville," Arkansas,and that in addition to the payment of said $500.00that said wall and side-wal be laid in their new location,and shrubs transplanted without any expense to the said R. J. Wilson. Alderman Ucker seconded this motion, and upon the question being put before,the Council resulted in the following vote: Ayes: Aldermen Bronson, xxxxxx; Hosford, Peal, Sanders, Shook and Ucker. Nays: Aldermen Gregory and Carter. The Mayor declared carried as there were Six Ayes and two Nays. Thayer Shelton, architect, presented blue prints showing proposed plans to be worked out in the new City :Building. Bis Sta. The question of congested traffic conditions in and around Union Bus Station,103 North ion College Avenue was brought to the attention of the Council. Alderman Gregory moved traffic that the Mayor appoint a committeeof three to confer with the proper authorities to congest- regulate Bus Traffic, seconded by Alderman Hosford, and carried unanimously. rhe payor ion: appointed Aldermen Sanders, Ucker and Bronson to act as this Committee. There being no further business, Alderman Bronson moved to adjourn, seconded by Alderma: Ucker, and carried unanimously, and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned. Alderman Shook moved that the bills be allowed as approved, seconded by Alderman Ucker, and carried unanimously; and the Mayor so declared. Com' Watl- Alderman Carter moved that Jodie IvIciviullen be appointed a Commissioner in Water Imp. er #2- No.2, seconded by Ald. City Limits to South Mountain was discussed, after City Atty., Price Dickson reported South that such an improvement district had been proposed at a recent meeting of property Sitn. owners. Sanders, Chairman Street Committee, stated that the matter of traffic congestion at Bus around Union Bus station had been discussed with the Bus Station employees, and that Station: a meeting with the Bus Line owners had been arranged for Thursday July 9th, No further business, Ald. Shook moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald.
