The Fayetteville City Council met in regular session June 15,1936 8: 00 E Mo
:Mayor A. D. YcAllister,City Clerk Otoe Phillips, City Attorney Price Dickson City
Engineer, C. E. Pierce. Aldermen: Bronson, Carter, Gregory, Hosford, Peal, �anders.
and Ucker. Absent: Alderman Shook.
Minutes of the regular meeting June 8th, also minutes of the called meeting June 11th,
were read and approved.
Bills The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of
the Auditing Committee: Southwest Bell Tele one Co. $58.05; Joe Baker $4.00; Ben Port.
er $17.50; A. F. Shumate 20.00; Jim Gibson 12.00; Elton Luper 610.00; Sandford & Son
$18. ; Williams Produce o. $1.80; M. S. Gabbert $1.20: Alderman Gregory moved that
these5 allowed as approved, and the Clerk instructed to issue Warrants upon the proper
funds in payment of same, seconded by Alderman Bronston and carried unanimously.
Dr. W. H. Metzler presented a claim for damages to his auto in an accident with a City
Water Plant truck on Arkansas Avenue. Dr. Metzler was asked to take this up with the
Plater Board as the Council has no authority in the matter.
The City Clerk presented tie matter of an electric fan belonging to J W Shelley which
has been in use in the Clerk's office for some time and asking that the City buy this
fan at the price asked $5.00. Alderman Gregory moved that the City pay J. W. Shelley154
for this fan, seconded by Alderman Hosford and carried unanimously.
Jodie A vacancy existing on the Board of Commissioners Water Improvement District No.2,
i McMullen Alderman Sanders moved that Jodie McMullen be appointed a Commissioner in Water Improve.

Cut CurblwLoren Mathis asked permission to cut curb at 816 North College to make driveway.
Loren Alderman Bronson moved that this permit be granted to be done under supervision of City
