Mayor McAllister expressed appreciation to retiring Alderman Bynum for his work for th City. Alderman Gregory made the motion for a vote of thanks, praising Mr Bynum for hi work on the Coun&.il, seconded by Alderman Bronson, and carried unanimously by a rising vote. Alderman Ucker movekthat the Council adjourn Sine Die. This motion was seconded by Alderman Peal, and carried unanimously; and the Mayor declared the Couneil as,iadjourne Sine Die. Absent: City Attorney, Rex Perkins and City Clerk Otoe Phillips, Alderman_ Bronson acting as Clerk of. the Session. Minutes of the Previous meeting were read and approved. Bills: The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of the Auditing Committee: W PI Harrison $$3.30; Milwaukee Dustles Brush Works $$3.85; W. S. Duggans-March and April Bills $8.89; Bossmyer-McBride $32.90; Jim Gibson $$12.00; A. F. Shumate $;18.00; Ben Porter $$15.00; Bossmyer-McBride $$9.38. Alderman Bronson moved that the -bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk instructed to issue warrants in eayment of same, seconded by Alderman Ucker,and carried unanimously. Count A bill from the County Election Board amounting.to $103.00 was presented. Alderman Election Sanders moved that the bill be carried over, seconded by Alderman Ucker and unanimousl Bill: passed by the Council. C. A: C. A. Marshall asked,permission to remove.old sidewalk to replace with new concrete at Marshall the corner of.Schoolland West Spring streets. Alderman Gregory moved, seconded by Permit: Alderman Carter that,the permit be granted to be done under supervision of City Engineer. Carried unanimously.
