Fayetteville City Council met in regular session November 18,1935 7:30 P M.
Present: Mayor McAllister, City C;erk Otoe Phillips, City Attorney Rex Perkins, Acting City
Engineer C E Pierce. Aldermen: Bronson, Bynum, Carter, Gregory, Peal, Sanders, Shook
and Ucker.

Bills:The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman.!of
the Auditin Committee: D A Burson y$9.00; 0 W Stapleton $$4.50; W E Gregg 05.25;
J C Burton 6.60; E. M. Ratliff $23.20; W. S. Du Bans $4.50, Ben Porter 15.00;
A F Shumate x$18.00; Bud Drain$$12.00; Guy Roberts 12.00; Clyde Walters $28.88o whereup
Alderman Bronson made a motion seconded by Alderman Uckernthat the bills be allowed as
approved and the Clerk instructed to draw warrants upon the proper funds in payment of
same. Upon the question being put before the Council the following vote resulted:
Aye: Aldermen: Bronson, Bynum, Cartex,Peal, Shook and Ucker. Nays: Aldermen Gregory
and Sanders. The Mayor declared carried as there were six Ayes and bnlyr.two Nays.
Watts, The Mayor presented the matter of the death of a man named Watts and stated that
funeral there was no funds to pay burial expense. County Judge Jackson has .offered to pay

Trucks Mayor called attention of the Council to the fact that Truck owners within the City
without limits, doing hauling in and out of the City, had been cited before Judge Massie, and
license: that the Police Judge had ruled that no.license was due. The Council ruled that the
Ordinance covered these cases. AldermannSanders moved that the Mayor appoint a
Committee to confer with Judge Massie. Alderman Carter seconded this motion which
carried unanimously,and the Mayor appointed Aldermen Sanders, Gregory and Bynum to act
as this Committee.
There being no further business, Alderman Bronson moved to adjourn. Motion seconded
Alderman Ucker and carried unanimously.

Fayetteville City Council met in regular session 7:30 P. M. Monday, November 25,1935.
Present: Mayor A D McAllister, City Clerk Otoe,Phillips, City Attorney Rex Perkins. Aldermen:
Bronson, Bynum, Carter, Gregory, Peal, Sanders, Shook and Ucker.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Bills: The following bills were presented after their, approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman
of the Auditing Committee:Ben Porter $15.00, Guy Roberts %$12.00o A F Shumate $18.00;
Bud Drain y$11.00;Frisco Ry Co $15.00;36uthwestern Gas & Electric Co. $1.40; Alderman
Ucker moved that these bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk instructed to issue
warrants upon the proper funds in payment of same. This motion was seconded by
Alderman Bynum, and received the unanimous vote of the Council.
Pumps: Herman Tuck representing the owners of Curb Pumps appeared before the Council,asking
for a reduction in the Annual License on Curb Pumps. After discussion, Alderman
Sanders made a motion which was seconded by Alderman Ucker that the Mayor appoint a
committee to check up on the volume of business per year by Curb Pump owners, and to,
report back to the City Council. Upon the question being put before the Council, the
vote was unanimous in favor of this motion; and the Mayor appointed the Finance
Committee to investigate this matter and report.
Produce The matter of Produce License was brought up. Alderman Ucker moved that this matter
License: be carried over. Alderman Sanders seconded the motion which received the unanimous
voteof the Council.
Truck Relative to Truck License,the Committee appointed reported that after discussion of
License: this matter with the Police Judge, that they considered it advisable to prepare an
amendment to the present Ordinance.
Suttle City Engineer, C. E. Pierce, brought to the attention of the Council that the Highway
Service Department was fixing the Drive -In to Suttle Service Station, corner Mountain
Station: and School streets with an elevation of only two (2) inches above Gutter elevation,
which he did not consider sufficient. Alderman Sanders maderia motion which was
seconded by Alderman Gregory that this matter bele£t with thil-City Engineer for

Police Judge Massie appeared before the Council,calling their attention to thewording
of the Motor Vehicle Ordinance. After discussion,Alderman Sanders made a motion which
was seconded by Alderman*Ucker that the Ordinance Committee with Judge Massie and
City`.Attoi4ney Rex Perkins prepare an amendment to the present Motor Vehicle Ordinance,
same to be presented at the next regular meeting December 2,1935. This carried
unanimously.
Alderman Sanders moved that the Council adjourn until Friday, November 29,1935 10 A. M
This motion was seconded by Alderman Bronson and received the unanimous vote of the
Council; and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned until that time.
