Fayetteville City Council met in regular session March 4th,1935.
Present: Mayor T. S. Tribble, City Clerk Otoe Phillips, City Attorney Rex Perkins; City
Engineer E. M, Ratliff, Acting Chief of Police Farl Hand, Aldermen: Bynum, Cara!?'
Gregory, McAllister, Peal, Shook and Stanford. Absent: Alderman Sanders,
Rills: Minutes of the regular meeting held February 25th, were readand approved.
The following hills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal,
Chairman of.the Auditing Committee: C.V. Day $11.75: Fayetteville Printing Co.
X15.1.0; A F Shumate $j3.00; Arkansas Western Gas Co. 8,5,22.; Blair Stationers $1.65

50 cents: Southwest Bell Telephone Go. $;36.23. Alderman McAllister moved that
the 111.11s be alloyed as approved and the. Glerk be instructed to draw warrants
for the same upon the, proper funds. The, motion was seconded by Alderman Shook
and received the unanimousvote of the Council: Mr. VI, VI. KPI ley appeared
hefoy*e the Council and stated his reasons for asking that his assessment In
Duncan Street Improvement District be lowered. City Attorney Rex Perkins to
whom the matter had been referred on February 25th, stated that there was no
recourse for Mir Kelley through the City Council.
Carried over The appointment (of members. .xx-xt on Board of -Managers City Water Plant was
Apnointmnt carried over until Mondayfrarch llth,1935.

Board of No further business, Alder*an McAllister moved that the Council adjourn.
Managers - Alderman Carter seconded the motion which was duly passed by the Council, and
the Mayor declared the Council adjourned.

$ry1.On. Alderrisn Sanders moved that the rills be. allowed as approved and the Clerk
he instructed to draw warrants unonthe proper funds in payment of same. The motion
was seconded by Alderman Carter and carried unanimously.
Alderman Carter moved that Fred L Kerr and Walker Kelley be're-appointed to serve as
Commissioners in Improvement llistrict 7,10,-55 (Duncan Street), and the Clerk asked to
notify these narties and advise -td file oathof Commission on or before Ykarch 21st.
of March 1985. Thisr:motion was seconded by Alderman Peal -ind received the.
Unanimous vote of all Councilmen present.
17ith reference to nropertp neeiied in changing route of Highway No.62,Aldrbrman
Gregory Moved that the City Olerk be instruct to issue a warrant in the. sum of $50,
nayahle to Sam F Dowell to he, nut in escrow pending developments in the Highways''
plan to changethis'route. This motion was seconded by Alderman Shook and upon the
question being nut, resulted in the unanimous vote of the Councilmen present.
There being no further business, Alderman Sanders-move.d th.'it the G,cuncil
adjourn. The motion was seconded by Alderman Peal, and received the entire vote
of Council, present. The. Mayor declared the "ouncil ad;ourned.
