Fayetteville City Council met in regular session February 18,1935.
,Present: Mayor T S Tribble, City Engineer r M Ratliff, City Atty Rex Perkins. Aldermen:
Bynum, Carter, McAllister, Peal,Sarders, Shook and Stanford. Absent: Aldermal
Gregory and City Clerk Otoe Phillips. City Atty Rex Perkins acting as Clerk
of the, session.
Bills: The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal,
Chairman of the Auditing Committee: Southwest Gas & Electric Co., $314.10: Chas
r Crawford 85 cents; Fayetteville Daily Democrat $4,92; Fanners mal"ket 81.50:
A F Shumate N18.00 ; Ben Porter `15.00: }IcLshin-ton Transfer eo. ;x.77 cents L.;V Dayo;
Alderman McAllister moved that the mills be allowed and the Clerk be instru`c'ted
to draw warrants upon the Proper funds in Payment df same. Alderman Bynum
seconded this motion and same redeiwed the unanimous vote of the Council present.
V1 VI Kel- Report of'Committee in reference to lowering assessment on Walker Kelley's
ley's I pronerty in Improvc;mc,:Lt listrict No. 35 (Duncan st.) js as follows:"We have
thoroughly investigated the Vlalker Kelley property at 17 North Duncan st., also
claim the property adjoining and it; is our opinion that there should be no change in
Duncan std the assessment unless the assessors will recommend such."

Alderman Carter moved that these two reports he received a' end adopted. Alderman
Peal seconded the motion and upon the question being put received the following
vote: Ayes: Aldermen. Bynum, Carter, McAllister, Peal, Sanders, Shook,and Stanford.
Absent and not voting: Alderman Gregory.

Alderran Bynum moved that C V Day be Paid 50 cents each for all Dog Tags issued

since February 6th,1935 until his services are terminated by proper authority.

This motion was seconded by Alderman McAllister and received the unanimous vote

Rtiilding Inspector R F V'lages asked that Lewis King be, refunded the $5.00 denosit
made in October 11.734 for advertising for objections to construction of
amusement place,assiKing reconsidered erection:.of same and advertisement was not
Placed. Alderman Sanders moved that this refund be made. The motion was
secorded by Alderman Peal and receive.' the unanimous vote of the Council present.
There being no further business, Alderman Carter made a motion which was
seconded by Alderman Peal that the Council &djourn. The motion passed unanimously
