Fayetteville City Council met in regular session December 3rd,1934.,
Present: Mavor T S Tribble, AldarmenL Bynum, Gregory, McAllister, Pe.al,,Shook and Sanders.
City Atty. Rex Perkins, Chief of Police Neal Crusef Absent: City Clerk Utoe Phillips,
Aldermen: Stanford nndCarter. City Attorney Rex Perkins acting as clerk of the '
session.

Bills: The following hills approved by Chairman of Auditing Committee were presented and
uponmotion of Alderman Bynum which was seconded by Aldeman.Sandp.rs were approved
and ordered paid by a unanimous vote of the Council present.: Arkansas 'Western Gas 'jo•
$3.26 and $3.00' J H Shelley $$7.00: Lewis Bros. 05.13 and X1.09: Ben kbrter 4015.00:
A F Shumate $18.00: Heerwagen Bros* $2.22; Abshier-Bryan Co•,$1.00; Fayetteville
Lumber and Cement':Co. $1.65.

Permit: A request from Dr• D. C. Roberts for permission to ut curb on, North Church Str7et
for entrance to his garage was presented• Aldermani«:ad moved that Dr• Roberts
request be granted, work to he rdbn+e under supervision of City Engineer,E M Ratliff.
This motion was seconded by Alderman Peal and carried unanimously and the Mal /or so
declared.
A petition from sixteen Real Estate Brokers asking that the Annual privilege Tax for
their line of work be reduced from $25.00 to$10.00and that a license costing X2.50
should apply for each salesman employed by such Broker• Alderman Sanders moved that
the petition be received and filed. Alderman Bynum seconded this motion which
carried unanimously and the Mayor so declared.
After some discussion, Alderman Bynum moved that the License to sell Real Estate be
Real EstattVeduced to 410.00 for each person enka#ed.in the business of selling real estate,
License same to be effective for the ,year 1934. This motion was seconded by Alderman Gregory
Reduced And received the unanimous vote of the members present. ?allowing tris action,
to $lo.on Alderman Gregory moved that the heal Estate Ordinance Nilmber 548, Section Une-be
amended to read Each Applicant for a license under the provisions of this
Ordinance shall pay to the City Collector of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, the
sum of Ten Dollars 4lo .) per annum and said City 091lector shall issue, to such
applicant a lieense authorizing said applicant to engage in the business of Real
Estate Broker or Rental Agent for the period of one year from date of said receipt.
The request for erection of Wood Sign was referred to Ordinance Committee.
There being no further business, a motion was made by Alderman Bvnum to adjourn
which was seconded by Alderman•.Gregory and the kayor declared the, i'ouncil adjourned.

Magnolia Petrolium Coo, $-29.92; Ben Porter $p15.00. Alderman McAllister moved than
billsbe allowed as approved and that the clerk be instructed to draw wabrants for t
same upon the proper funds. This motion was seconded. by Alderman Bynum and was
carried unanimously, and the Mayor so declared.
The matter of Auto License for Ozark White Lime Bo•,Vine Bluipenburg for Buick Coupe
was brought up covering the year 1934. In view of the fact that Mr Blumenburg was
under the imuression that he did not have to buy a tag for this car or he would
have bought at the beginning of the year, Alderman Gregory moved that the City
Collector be instructed to issue a 1934 auto tag to Mr Blumenburg for the sumce of
$5.00• Alderman Sanders seconded thismotion and same was carried unanimously.
There being no further business Alderman Bynum moved to adjourn. This motion was
seconded by Alderman McAllister and received the unanimous vote of the Council
present. The Mayor declared the Council adjourned.
