Fayetteville City Council met in regular session November 19,1934.
Present: Mayor Tribble. Aldermen: Bynum, iCxxxx . Gregory. McAllister, Peal, Shook and
Stanford. Absent: AldermQn Sanders ty Engineer E i,i Ratliff, City Atty., hex
Perb;ins, and Chief of Police NealGruse.City Attorney acting Clerk.
Bills The following bills approved by Chairman of the Auditing committee were presented,
and upon motion of Alderman Bynum which was seconded by Alderman McAllister were
ordered to be paid by a unanimous vote of the members uresent: Southwest Gas &
T'lectric Co., $314.10: S B Hannah 75 cents: Salsbury General Shop 5x3.25'; Ben Porte
015.00: A F Shumate $18.00.
The Annual Report of North College avenue Improvement District was carried over
waiting vouchers, coupons etc., to accompany same.
Tags for The 1Jayor presented the matterof License Tags to be bought and in office for
1935- sale by January 1st, 1935. A Dlotionavas made by Alderman Gregory to. award the
City License Tag order to Fayetteville Printing Comuany for the same quantity of
Tags' as houfht for 1934; price of Taps not to exceed five (5) cents each
except Dog and T`airy Tags which are to be 3 cents each. Color to be the same
as State. License. This motion was seconded by Alderman Shook and carried
unnnimously.by the. 0muncilmen present and was so declared by the Mayor.
After some discussion with reference to passenger cars and trucks running without
license,Alderman Gremry moved that the head of eacc) City Department be asked to
be present at Council meeting Monday, November jet r. lderman McAllister seconded
this motion which carried unanimously and the Mayor so declared.
Thele being no further business to come before the Council amotion for ad•journmfn
was madle by Alderman Peal; same was seconded by Alderman Gregory and the Vs -

declared the Council adjourned.
