Fayetteville City Council met in regular session October 29th,1934,
Present Mayor Tribble, City Glerk Otoe Phillips, City Fnp.ineer T;1..? RPtliff, Chief of Police
Ideal Cruse, City Attorney Rex Perkins. Aldermen: Bynum, Carter, Gregory, Peal ,'
McAllister, Sanders, and Shook. Absent Alderman Stanford.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Bills: The following `:ills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of
the :,uditing Committee: F E Powers y>2.00; A F Shumate $18.(10; Ben Porter $15.n0.
City Attorney Rex Perkins ruled that R P ti!ages bond as Elas Inspector covered
responsibility required. Alderman Gregory moved that this bond be accepted and
filed. Alders n McAllister seconded the motion and the vote carried unanimously.
Report of Fire Committee was carried over.
A resolution covering a levy of One Ilill(1) on each dollar of assessed valuation of
all real qnd personal property within the Corporate limits of the City of Fayette-
ville for City'Hospitr,l_ 1 purposes was presented by Alderman Carter. Alderman
Sanders moved that the resolution be adopted. 'Aderman McAllister seconded the
motion. upon the question being put before thelUouncil the. follovring vote Pesult,�d.:

is hereby decl.stred to be OPIE (1) VILL on egrh Collar of Assessed Valutation of all
real and personal property within the. Corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville,
lirkansas, as shown by thr Asssessment Books for State anr' Count,
rurposes, ani that th

ed to oertify this levy to the Gounty Clerk of Ciashington County, Arkansas, to the
end that the same may be placed on the Tax Books and. collected with the State and
Countlr Taxes.
