Bynum, Grepory, McAllister, Peal;'Sanders, Shook:'Chief of Police Neal Cruse, Chief of Fire Department Clyde Walters,. "Absent: -Aldermen Witt Carter and Dr. J. F. Stan' ford, City Clerk Oteoe Phillips. City Attorney Vex Perkins acting as clerk of the session. Minutes of the,last regular meeting August 6th, were read and approved. Bills: The following hills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of the Auditing Committee:'Geo J Rodgers $3:75: HenryVaughan $8475: Homer Milstead $10.404, A F Shumate 18.00; Ben Porter -8W5:00; Rogers Wholesale Grocery $36.98; Lewis Bros. $4.25; Continental Oil Co:; $6.50; Cloe Hazlett $4.25. Alderman Bynum moved that the bills -be allowed as approved and the clerk be instructed to draw warrants for the same upon thedfooer funds.' Alderman Peal seconded the motim which received the unanimous vote of -the Council. Oliver Lollar applies Dairy Report: Thrift House Street Signe: Adjourn ment: The application of Oliver Lollar for the place of Inspector of Building,sewer, Rasrand light was read. Mottion was made by Alderman Peal and seconded by Alderman Sanders that application be received and filed subject to consideration, resulting in the following vote: Ayes: Aldermen Bynum, Gregory, McAllister, Peal, Sanders, Shook. Absent and not voting Aldermen, Witt Carter and Dr J F Stanford. Dairy report of Dr J F Stanford, in compliance with ordinance # 762., was read. Motion was made by Alderman Gregory -and seconded hy'Alderman Sanders that same be receiver' and filed, and same was passed by aunanimous vote of the Council. At the request of Mrs D M Moore, A -motion �4as made by Alderman Gregory that Fayettville Thrift House be permitted tomove a cabin known as the "Caddy House" on the City Golf Course to a vacant lot and use it as a storeroom for Baskets for the winter of 1934-35; same to be returned at the expense of Thrift House. Alderman Peal seconded this motion which received the following vote: Ayes: Aldermen Bynum, McAll aster, Peal, Sanders, Shook and Gregory. Absent and not voting: Aldermen Carte and Stanford. The Mayor declared carried, Alderm�erZorymade a motion that the City buy thirty (30) street signs, arra that thh r�in�"n o.f the Street Committee; do the buying and placing of same. Alderman Peal seconded this motion which resulted in the following vote: Ayes: Alderman Bynum,McAllister, Peal, Sanders, Shook, and Gregory. Absent and not vot- ing : Aldermen Stanford and Carter. The Magor declared the motion carried. There being no furtherbsi.iiness a motion for adjournmert was made by Alderman Peal which was seconded by.Alderman'Bynum. declared the Council adjourned.
