Fayetteville City Council met in regular session July 23rd,1934, 8:00 P M.
PresentsI Mayor T S Tribble, Aldermen: Shook, McAllister, Bynum, Sanders, Peel, Carter, Gregory
and Stanford: also City Engineer F M Ratliff, and Chief of Fire Department Clyde

The minutes o.fthemeeting of July 16th, were read.
Fire- Alderman Shook moved that tl^e minutes pertaining to the Mayor borrowing money be
House corrected to read as follows: "The Mayor is authorized to borrow four to five thou-

Upon roll -call. -the following vote resulted; Ayes,Aldermen Cart@,%, Bynum, Gregory,
McAllister,Peal, Shook and -Stanford. Nayes: Alderman Sanders, The Mayor declared thi
motion carried and the minutes approved as amended.
Bills: The following bills approved by the auditing committee were approved and ordered to b
paid: Bohe Grocery $2.50; Ben Porter $15:00; Fldo Cole $1.25; Harve Ward $2.50: J C
Plaits $$2.50; Southwest Gas & Electric Co.;'$$315.10; C F Pierce $12.50; Salsbury shop
$7.00; A F Shumate$$18.00; Albert Walker $2.50.

hist ¢rl: Buchanan Ave andthe Alley lying North of Lot 1, Block 8 and Lot 7, Block 7; all -of
Duncan's Addition to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas. This motion was seconded by
Alderman McAllister. Upon roll=ca ll; the following vote resulted:Ayes: Aldermen
Bynum, Carter, Gregory,'McAllister, Peal.' Sanders, Shook and Stanford. The Mayor
declared the motion unanimously adopted,.
