Section `three: This ordinance being necessary for the immediate protection
of the public peace, health and safety an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance shall take effect and he in force from and after its passage,
approval and publication.

linquent The delinquent dairy aisense matter was called to the Attention of the Council
Dairy Alderman Gregory made a motion that the City Attorney issue warrants to the
License respective dairyman for payment of these license. The motion was carried
unanimously.
No further business Alderman Harding made the motion that the Council adjourn,
diourn the motion was seconded by Alderman Sanders and received the entire vote of the
Council. The Ma or d fed the Council adjourned.

Minutes of the regular meeting held March 19, were read ar approved,
Rills The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman
of the auditing committee: S w! Gas Elee Co. $314.10, A F Shumate fA.25,
reo Holcomb A3.15, A H Monds 42.00, Ben Porter $15.00, H A Kreowlton $7.50,
A F Shumate $15.00. Alderman Bynum moved the bills be allowed as approved and that
the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants forthe same upon the proper funds.
The motion was sedonded by Alderman Carter and was carried unanimously.
Alderman Bynum intorduced an Ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance to Prohibit the
Ordinance running at large of Dogs, to Provide for the Taking up and the disposition
thereof, and providing the fines and Penalties for the Violation".
The `'l.erk read the Oridnance the first time in its entirety. Alderman Harding
moved that the rules be further suspended and the ordinance be placed on its
second reading. The motion was seconded by lderman Carter and received the
entire vote of the Councid). The Clerk then mead the Ordinance the second time.
The ordinance was left'on its second reading.
F M Ratliff made a talk be fore the Council concerning the new relief program.
Relief lie also explained the fact that the different Cities were contributing toward the
Program the caad.e to .send Mayor Rosler to Washington DNC in interest of this program.
Alderman Peal made the motion that a Check he sent to Mavor Knovilpton for this
pu^pose, the motion was seconded by Alderman Stanford and Carried unanimously.

Alderman Stanford made the motion seconded by Alderman Carter and passed unanimously
by that Council that the City Attoreny use his best judgment in proceedure to
stop all dairyman who have not complied with c-,rdinance 762 from selling milk
in the City of Fevetteville, Ark,
SignI Tho Matter of signs which have been installed in voilation of the Sign ordinance
Ordinancle was brought before the Council. Alderman Peal made a motion seconded by Alderman
violated Carter and passed unanimously by the `'ouncil that the City Attorney investigate
this ordinance and take the necessary steps to have all such signs removed.
No further business Alderman Peal made the motion that the Council adjourn,
the motion was seconded by Alderman L'ynum and received the entire vote of the Council
The Mayor declared a 'ouncil adjourned.
