Tribble, Citv Attorney Virgil Ramsey, Alderman, Bynum, Carter, Gregory, Harding, Peel, Sanders, Stanford'and Wages• Absent Otoe Phillips. Bills Present; Bills; Virgil Ramsey was named as the acting City Clerk'. The. bills were Dresented after their approval By Alderman Peal, Chairman of the Auditing Committee: Allen Strain $2.50, Ben Porter $15.00, J: F Kell $5.64, Kelly Bro. $1.50, A.F.Shumate $18. Mc Coy Coal Co. $1.75. AldermanSanders moved that the bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk be instructed to.draw warrants for the same upon the proper'fund•s: The motion was seconded by TAlddiman Harding and received the unanimous•vofsecoft:the Council. Mavor recommended t�l'it G. Us Smith to fill vanancy on the hoard of Commissioners of ImD. Dist. No. Made vacant by Scott's Resignation. Sanders made the motion Seconded by Al aman Harding that G. C. Smith be appointed. The motion carried receiving the entire vote of the Council. Dicussi.on of the approuration for'the audit of the City's books was passed until the next session, of the Council. No furtherhusiness Alderman Sanders made a motion that the Council adjourn. Alderman Peal seconded the motion which carried unaminouAiwand. the Mayor declared the Council ad.jo r .d. Trih')le, City Clerk Otoe Phillip, City Attorney Virgil Ramsey, City Fn - ginner F. M. Ratliff, Aldermen Bynum, Carter, Gregory, Harding, Peel, Stanford, and Wages. Absent; Alderman Sanders. Minutes of the regular meetings as held January 22nd and January 29th, 1934, were read and approved. The following bills were presented•after their approval by Alderman Peal, Chairman of the Auditing Committee; S. Y1. Gas & Electric Co. $314.10, S. W. Bell Telephone Co. $28.45, Lewis Bros $2.65, Fayetteville Pte Co. $0.55, Blair Stationers $0.50, Ark. Western Gas Co. $3.80, As F. Shumate $7.25, Lewis Bros $;6.13, Chas Kilpatrick $2.00, Smelser & Eason $3.50, Fayetteville Lumber & Cement Co. $13.04, Harry E. Hamilton $8.55 and $5.85, Allen Strain $1.25, Ben Porter $15500, Thomas.& Scn $4.90, He^r- wagen Bros 9.73, A. F. Shumate $18.00, S. F. Mages 01.50, Fayetteville Lumber & 83 Cement Co. 85.60, Lewis Bros $2., Campbell & Bell 2.00. Alderman Bynum moved that the bills be allowed as aprroved and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants for same upon the prober funds. The motion wqs seconded by Alderman Carter and received the unanimous vote of the Council. Requests for the installation of Electric signs at McAllister's store and Rader's Cafe were Dresented. By motion of Alderman Harding, seconded by Alderman Bynum, and duly passed by the Council, the requests were granted, same to be under suDervision of the City Inspector. The Mayor named Assistant Fire Chief Winton Davis Acting Fire Chief, such ar.Doint- ment to stand until the eresent Fire. Chief is nhysically able to resume active duty. No further business Alderman Peal made a motion that the Council adjourn. The motion} was seconded by Alderman Hardi.nr and received the entire vote of the Council, and th Mavor declared the Council adiurned. / r/ Approved:
