Alderman Sanders put the above recorimendation in the fore of a motion which was seconde by Alderman Peal. On the question heinc, put before. the Council the following vote. re- sulted: Ayes: Sanders. Haysc Bynum, Carter, Gregory, Harding, Peal, Stanford, Wagas. Drake auneared before. the Council offering to donate, to the City of Faye.t:tevill.e two strips of land 20 feet wide along, the Fast side of Block 6, Enrlewood Addition, to enlarge Pqrk Ave. if the City would grade and gravel certain sections of Park Ave. Aldermar. Harding, moved that the matter he referred to the Chairman of the Street. Commit ee. and the City "ngineenr. The motion was seconded by Aleerman Carter and received the unanimous vote of the Council. Ratliff onAlderman Creaory made a motion that E. 1.6, Ratliff be. anroi.rted A. member of the Board "later of Improvement of hater District 110. 1 to fill the vacancy existinr therein. Alderman Board: Tauns seconded the motion -whish received the unanimous vote of the Council.. On adjourn rent of the Council, Yr. Ratliff was sworn in as a member of the Vater Board by the Clark. No further husinnss, Alderman Gregory moved that the Council adjourn. Aldermar Vlages seconded the motion which passed unanimously, and the 1.1ayor declared the Council adjourned. By motion of Alderman Harding, seconded by Alderman Peal., and duly passed by the Council, the. renorts were. oedered received and filed. Alderman Carter t;hen made, the fdllowing motion: that all arrests, charges, and the. disposition of all cases be. included in the reports of the Police Judge. and the Chief of Police, and that said renort be published. Drake to donate a 20 foot strip of land on the East; side of Block 6, Enplewoor Addition, for the widening of Parte Avenue, if' the.Gity would grade and gravel certain parts of Parti Avenue, b� accepted - provided that the work he put in a Ci.vi.l Works Bro- iect and ha anrrroved by the Civil 11orks Contrrission. Alderman Harding, moved that the recommendation be ar:"rroved and the Gomrrittee be discharged. Alderaman Peal seconded the motion which carried unanimously. H. L. Pearson The Trustees of the City Hospital requested the Council to anpoir,t H. L. Pearson on Hosni .al as a Trustees for the City Hospital representing the City of Fayetteville and tal,inr- Board: the- dace of J. V. Walker, wl:o is unable to attend rieetinrs.
