By motion of Al.dnrman Harding, seconded by Alderman Peal, and duly passed by the Council, the request was granted and the Clerk instructed to draw warrant for x;5.00 on the Street Fund. � Mayor Tribble called the attention of the Council to the fact that the Flying, FiPld Fund and the Aviation Fund are and should he o�n�� and the same, and asked that the accounts he combined, in order that a 500.0c�'nl'a"y he taken care of. Alderman Wages made a motion seconded by Alderman Bvnum tha6the Clerk be instructed to transfer enough money from the F1yina Field Fund to the Aviation Fund to take care of the bond. The motion carried unanin6us';v and the Layor so declared. Alderman Waves moved that the Council recess, to come together again on Thursday, Oct.l 5th, 19:i3, at 7,3OPM for the Purpose of passing on an ordinaree calling for an elect:io to vote on the n,.ronosed municipal building. Stanford introduced an ordinance to be. entitled "An Ordinance calling a spPcial election to be held on the 14th day of November, 1933, at the several n.ollinv, nlaces in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, f'or the purnose of determining by ballot whether or not said City shall issue bonds to the sum of P)45,500.nn, with which to nor - chase a site and construct a building for a City Hall". The Clerk read the ordinance the first time in its entirety. Alderman Harding moved that the rules he suspended and the ordinance placed on its second reading. Alderman Peal seconded the motion which received the entire vote of the Council present. The Clerk then read the ordinance the second time. After discussion, Alderman Sanders moved that the rules be further sus- pended and the ordinance placed on its third and final reading. Alderman Bynum seconde the motion. On the Clerk's calling the roll the following vote resulted: Ayes: Bynum, Sanders. Nava: C<irter, Hardirrr, Peal, Stanford. Absent and not voting: Gregory, vlaves. The Vayor declared the motion lost as there were 2 Ayes and 4 Nays. The ordinance wa.s left on its second readin.u. Alderman Sanders moved that the Council adjourn. Young of the Frisco Railway relative to the construction of a walkway on viaduct over the main line at 1anle Street was read to the Council. b;r•. After discussion as to tlhe amounts required for the different funds, Alder•rnan Gregory made a motion, which was seconded by Alderman Vlages, that the tax levy for the various City funds be the same as was levied .for the year 1932. Unon the question bei.np put, before the Council the following vote resulted: Ayes: Bynum, Carter, Gregory, Harding, Stan- ford, Vingns, Nays: Peal, Sanders. Absent and not voting: none. The matter was referred to the Ordinance Committee, by motion of Alderman Gregory, seconded by Alderman Harding, and duly passed by tt.e Council. No further business, Alderman Harding moved that the Council adionrn. The motion was seconded. by Alderman Gref;ory and received the entire vote of the Council. The Mayor declared the unc' ,�journed.
