Due to the absence of the City Clerk no minutes were nresented.
gills: The following hills were presented after their approval by Alderman Parr, Chairman ofl
the Auditing Committee, whereupon Alderman Harding made a motion which was seconded
by Alderman Rvnum that the bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk be instructed to
draw warrants for same upon the Proper funds. This motion received the unanimous vote o
of the Council and the Mayor so declared. Ark. h'estern Gas Co. 963.80, S. W. Bell. Tel-

Alderman 111ages made a motion that the action of the Council. on February 20th, 193:i,
relative to the C. A. Moreno Asphalt Plant proposition be brought up for re -consider-
ation. Alderman Bynum seconded the motion which received the entire vote of the Coun-
cil. After discussion Alderman Sanders made a motion which was seconded by Alderman
Stanford that the C. A. Moreno Asphalt Plant proposition he rejected. Upon the ques-
tion heina rut before the Council it received their unanimous vote and the Clerk was
instructed to notify* the C. A. Moreno Co, of the resection.
The

to consider a hill. of P4rs. E. H. Watts as the injury to her car
was
no fault
of the
City.
'TO further business, Alderman Stanford moved that the Council adiourn. Alderman Greg-
ory seconded the motion which received the entire vote of the Council. The Mayor
declared the Cou cil adio%rned.

Pearling of minutes was deferred till next regular meetirp, April 3rd, 1933.
The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Barr, Chairman of
the Auditing Committee, whereunon a motion was marle by Alderman Harding, that the hill
be allowed as anproved and the Clerk he instructed to draw warrants for same upon the
Proper funds. The motion was seconded by Alderman Bynum and'received the entire vote
of the Council. Pete Cann X610.00, Norwood h Williams ?*1.50, Ren Porter $6.00, F. H.
Comer $6.00, A. F. Shumate 18.00,
A. Rohe asked permission to cut the curb for a driveway to his garage at his resi-
dente on Johnson Street. A motion made by Alderman Bynum and seconded by Aldermen
Carter to grant this Permit under the supervision of the City engineer was passed
by the unanimous vote of the Council and the Mayor so declared.
The pronosnd Ordinance to Rring Block 32, Original Town of Fayetteville, into the
lFire 'Lone, same being carried on its second reading, was brought to the attention
of the Council. A. N. Clement and Frank 9. Lewis appeared before tine Council in
ornosition to the Ordinance, but withdrew their ohiections when Alderman Carter
offered the following, amendment: That the Ordinance be amended to also include Rlocl:s
18 and 25, Original Town of Fayetteville, Arkansas, to be taken into the Fire Zone,
Alderman Bynum made a motion that was seconded by Alderman Harding that the Ordinance
as amended he placed on its third and final reading. This motion was duly passed by
the Council and the Clerk then read the Ordinance the third and final time. The
Mayor then nut the question "Shall the Ordinance pass". Upon the Clerk calling? the
roll the following vote resulted: Aves, Barr, Rvnum, Carter, Gregory, Harding, Stan-
ford, Wages, Na Vs, none. Absent and not voting, Sanders. The Mavor declared the Ordi-
nance Passed as there were 7 Ayes and no Nays.

An Ordinance to be entitled "An Ordinance to a*nend section one of Ordinance No.
618. Passed and approved on the 24th day of May, 1926".
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas:
Section One: That section One of O.rdi�ance No. 618, passed and approved on the
24th day of May, 1926, with reference to fire zones be amended to read as follows:
"Regi.nning at the intersection of the South Line of ''lest Spring Street; wits the
rast line of North Church Street, and run'inp thence east to a Point three hurdred
(300) feet east of the east line of North College Avenue: thence south parallel with
the east lire of College. Avenue and at a distance of three hundred (300) feet there
from, to tee north line of the alley immediately south of the County Jail., thence
west to the, east line of College Avenue, thence south to the north line of Rock
Stre-it, thence west alonp tee north line of Rock 1ztreat to the east line of South
