Rarr, Chairman. of t= Auditing Conmittee, whereupon Aldermar Harding made a motion seconded by Alderman Bynum that the hills be allowed as approved and the Clerlr be instructed to draw warrants for same upon the proper .furds. This motion received the entire vote of the Council and the B'ayor so declared and instructed the Clerk; South- western Gas and. Electric Co. 4'5a0.90, Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. 4'32.40, Ark. Report: The financial•rrport of the Receiver of North Jeoverett Avemte Improvement District No. 1 was presented and the Clerk yens directed by the. unanirlous vote of the Council. to receive and file same. Alderman I"lages riade a motion that the total of bills for each department he given each meeting night in addition to- the individual bills. Alderman Carter seconded the motion and it received the entire vote of the Council. Permit: J. F. Aldnrmar Hardirr sec- onded the motion which received the lmanimous vote of the Council and the I:ayor so doclared. Aldermar Gregory made a motion seconded by Alderman Bynlin that this be. allowed and handled in the 193.} Rudge+. Ordinanc Alderman C'rrerrow introduced' an ordinance entitled `•'An ordinance to fix the salaries of certain City Officials of the City of Fayettevi'•.le, Arkansas." Tris ordinance was road the first time in its entirety. Alderman Harding made. a motion that the rubs hr susnrndrd and the ordinance bo placed upon its second readinrr. This motion etas s'econded by Alderman. Bynum. Upon the question beirr- put heforo the Council the fdllowinu. vote resulted: Ayes Barr, Rynum, Carter, Cregor-r, Hardinr-, Sar.dors, Star - ford, and I"aFe,s. !iaysjnone.. Absent; and not voting, none. Tho Vayor declared the mo- tion as carried and instructed the Clerk to read the ordinance tre.second time. The Clnr17 then read the ordinance the second time in its entirety. The ordinance was left or its second reading.
