herecceived and filed. This motion received the unsnimous vote of the Council and the
Mayor so declared and instructed the Clerk.

seconded by Alderman Gregory, that the Ordinance be tabled. Upon the question hairp

and ('!ages: ?Jays. Barr, Carter, Ha.rdir•-g, and Sanders. The trayor declared the motion
lost as there were 4 Ayes and 4 Nays,

further action he taken relative to the Ordinance aautborizirg acquisition -of the

Corr-:issioners furnish a complete accounting of all mo,i.es derived from the sale of
bonds and turned to and, used by the Hospital Cormittea of t1.e Chamber of Commerce
in locating the Veterans Hospital. This motion received the urlarirmous vote of the

of the regular meeting as held 1'1ovember 14th, 1932, were read and approved by the
unanimois vote of the Council.
Thn following bills were presented after their arrroval by Alderman- Ra.rr, Chairman of
the Auditina Committee, whereupon Alderman Harding, mado a mo'.ion seconded bf Alderman
Bzmum that the bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk '-e instructed to draw
warra•�ts fop same upon the prones funds. This motion received thr- unarimous vote of

cil the following vote resultod: Ayes: Rarr, Bynum, Carter, Harding, Sanders, Stan-
ford, and flares: i?airs: Gregory. The Mayor declared the motion passed as there were
7 ayes and 1 nay.
A petition was presented by J. D. Early, and Victor E. kussum relative to the increase
in sewer XXXXX tax of approximately 2n/ and requesting the Council to investigate the
mutter. The Council deferred action until the citizens furnish information as to the
delinquents and assessrirnts in SewerDistrict No. 1.
F. Me Ratliff stated thatfor the Ci.t}f to receive its sharp of the unempl.oymert relief
offered by the Reconstruction Finance Corporation it is necesssmy for the City to
furnish all supplies needed for street work, and someone should be. empowered to sign
such gua*,antees. Alderman Gregory made a motion, which was seconded by Alderman
ITarding, thit the FfRyor he authorized to sign all rapers necessary to obtain above
Relief. The Council unanimously passed the motion and the Magor so declared.
Alderman Sanders made a moti.o,1 seconded by Alderman 3:rnum that the. Council. adjourn.
This ?lotion received their unanimous vote and the Mayor declared the Council
