Audit: Due to the condition of the hooks of the City Clerk on August lst, 1932, a motion was made by Alderman Gregory and seconded by Alderman Stanford that the Mayor and the City Clerk be instructed to employ R. C. Framhers 8: Co., Certified Account- ants of Ft. Smith, Ark., to make a complete audit from the date of last audit to Oct. lst, also to include a final audit at the close of the year 1932. This me - tion received the unanimous vote of the Council. and the PSayor so declared. Rxecutiv A motion was made by Alderman_ Bynum and seconded by Alderman Stanford that the Session: City Council go into an Executive Session. Upon the question being put before the Council it received their unanimous vote. The Councilthen went into Executive Session. Alderman ,"ages then presented a recommendat:inn signed by Alderman Tages and Alderman Gregory of the Finance Committee, recommending the following chances: Abolishment of the office of Purchasing Arent, elimination of the extra $25.00 which was added in the past to the office of City Health, Cancellation of the monthly check of $;20.00 to the Thrift Ho,ise. droprinr of one day.man from the Police force, abolishment of the officF of Sanitary police, reducing the City Library monthly warrant $`110.00, reduction of all Councilmen's salaries by 33 1/,'1, reduction of all remaining salaries 25%. Alderman Stanford seconded by Al.derman Bynum made t, e following motion: that the above recommendation he accepted, and that the Ordinance Committee and. City Attorney be instructed to prepare resolu- tions and Ordinances necessary to comply with same.
