following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman_Barr,Chairman of th
ting Committee,whereupon Alderman Bynum made a motion that was seconded by Alderman
that the bills be allowed as approved and the.Clerk.be instructed to draw
the proper fAnds for the payment of the same.Upon the Mayor putting the question
re the Counciliyit received their unaminous vote.and the.Mayor.so declared and ins

Paris §reen asked permission to cut the Curb for a driveway in front of his prope
on 523 N.Storer Street,Whereupon Alderman Sanders made a motion that was seconded by
Alderman Bynum that Mr.Green be granted this request and the work to be done under the
supervision of the City Engineer.Upon the question being put before the Council,it rec
their unaminous vote and the Mayor so declared and instructed the Clerk to notify the'
Engineer*
A letter was read from Mr.M.L.Price requesting the permission to have the City Enginee
est, blish a grade for a curb and gutter at his filling.station on West Spring Street i
to eliminate the hole that was left in the same by reason of the removal of a
hydisant.A motion was gads by Alderman Wages and seconded.by Alderman Barrr that this
be granted under the supervision of the City Engineer.Upon the question being put
thelCouncil it received their unaminous vote and the Mayor so declared and instructed
Clerk to notify the City Engineer.
A request was read from Mr.Walter Duggans asking the permission to out the Street on E
Lafayette Avenue in order that he might matte proper sewer connection.A motion was made
Alderman Harding and seconded by Alderman Sanders that this reqest be granted under the
Ordinance covering the same and the waork to be done under the supervision of the City
Engiieer.Upon the question being put before the Council,it received their unaminous vot
and the Mayor so declared and instructed the Clerk to notify the City Engineer.
Commissioner report:A resolution was introdeced by Alderman Wages as follows:A resolution to dir
and Require the Board of Commissioners of any Improvement District within the corporate
limits of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,to file annually with the City Clerk,a sett
reflecting all collections and money paid out by them.Be it resolved by the City Counci
of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas:
Section One:That annually during the month of September,all,Boards created under Sectio
#Z.Cib2l.of.Crawford & Moses Digest,shall file with the Clerk of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansa'aa settlement showing all collections and moneys received and paid out with pro

vouchers for such payments,which settlements shall lie over for one month for examinati
and adjustment,during which time any tax -payer of such District may file exceptions
to such settlement.
Section Two:That this resolution shall be in effect from and after its passage and
approval,and all resolutions or parts thereof in conflict herewith,be and the same are
hereby repealed.

Alderman Senders made a motion that was seconded.tiy Alderman Stanford that the €913:9
foregoing resolution be adopted as presented by Alderman Wages.Upon the question being
put before the Counell,it received their unaminous vote and the Mayor declared the
resolution as carried.
