Section Two.That this ordinance shall be deemed cumulative and shall repeal only subt% parts of same as may be in direct conflict herewith and shall be in force and effect and after its passage,approval,and publication. Mr.Lemar and Mb.Grover George were before the Council and asked that the ordinace on peddling be enforced.The Mayor told them that.he would be.glad.to enforce this ordinance as the City was looking after all of the revenue that was possible for the City to obtain. The Mayor asked the Ordinance Committee to meet with the City Attorney and draw up s new ordinances covering several important matters.This action was taken after Alderman Wages made and requested some action in regards to reports as required of the Commissi of Tmprovement Districts by the State but was not required by City Ordinances, Alderman Bynum made a motion that was seconded by Alderman Gregory that the Council adjourn.Upon the question being.put before the Council,it received their unaminous v and the Mayor declared the Council as adjourned. Mr.Hsnry Walker asked permission to out the curb on 41 E.Rock Street for a driveway,whe upon Alderman Sanders made a motion that was seconded by Alderman Carter that this requ De granted under the supervision of the City Engineer.Upon the question being put before the Council,it received their unaminous vote and the Mayor so declared and.instructed t Clerk to notify the City Engineer.
