A mition was made by Alderman Sanders and seconded by Alderman Barr that the Council adjourn,upon the question being put before the Council�it received their unaminous vote and the Mayor so declared the Council as adjourned. The Clerk read a bill of the expense of the City General Election as held on Tuesdat April 5th and P. 7r.L4.ti.Collier the secretary had a notation that the cost of the election his year was $20.20 less than last years expense.The amount of the expense is 4j76.10. Alderman Sanders'tlade a motion that was seconded by Alderman Harding that the Bill be �allowed and the.Clerk be instructed to draw a warrant upon the General Find for the raymint of the some. PROTES S: The Clerk then read the following protests against their assessments as levied against theipaaperty in Cdrb & Gutter Improvement District No. 38 and Paving Improvement District No.39.Elda Cole,ChesterC..Smith,Mrs.Nora Mould.en,J.L.Slaughter & Ada Slaughter.The Commits# -ioners J.L.Slaughter & Fred Rouse of Curb & Gutter Improvement District No.38 and Pavilg- Impr vement District No.39 filed protests against the lowering of the following property owners property in the above Districts.J.T.Rosser reduced from $436.79 to 4;100.00, W.S.Duggans reduced from ^516.72,H.E.Jackson reduced from 4p725.79 to 4;625.79. Alderman Sanders made a motion that was seconded by Alderman Harding that the protests - as filed or anyothers that might be filed before the time of expiration would be heard on Monday April 18th,1932 and the Clerk be imstructed to notify the Commissioners and Asselsors of the time of the hearing.Upon the question being put before the Council,it received their unaminous vote and the Ilfayor so declared and instructed the Clerk. Mf .Long: Alderman Scott made the following report in reference to the property owned by Mrs. Long on North Street."Mrs Long called me on the Phone this morning Monday llth,10.32 at 11.30 A.M. in regard to the price she would accept for 30 feet of land,full length of her property just east of the Frisco.R.R. for the purpose of opening up a road,whic be known as North Street on the North City limit s of the City of Fayetteville.Her pric iis $250.00 and asked me to submit this to the Council to -night" Alderman Scott: The Mayor asked the Council to give Alderman Scott a vote of thanks for his services and Co-operation wilah the Council by riseing to their feet.The Council tbbn stood as requested.Alderman Scott then made a few remarks expressing his thanks and appreciation. :Alderman Wages then made a motion that the Council adjourn.Sine Die.This motionwas seconded by Alderman Bynum.Upon the question being put before the Council,it received their unaminous vote and the Iiiayor declared the Council as adjourned Sine Die.
