Fayetteville City Council Met in regular session on Monday March 28th,1932,
Present: Mayor T.S.Tr.ibble,City Clerk Wm.F.Dunn,City Attorney U James Ptak,City Engineer E X .

and Wages.

Minutes of the regular meeting as held on March 21st 1932 were read and approved by the unaminous
vote of the City Council.
Bills: rhe following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Soott,Cba&rman of the
Auditing Committee,whereupon Alderman Wages made a. motion that was seconded by Alderman
Bynum that the bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk instructed to draw warrants
upon the proper funds for their payment.Upon the question being put before the Council,
it received their unamionous vote and the Mayor so declared.Bills:Shumate & Williams $3C.0

A request from Mr.Marcus Hulse to out the sidewalk in front of his property on EastLaf
Ave was read to the Council,whereupon Alderman Sanders made a motion that was seconded
Alderman Harding that this request to cut the sidewalk be granted and the work to be d
under the supervision of the City Enginear.Upon the ballot being taken there were seven
No.Nays and the Mayor so declared and ordered the Clerk to notify the City Enginner.
A motion was made by Alderman Sanders and seconded by Alderman Barr that the Council
adjourn,upon the question being put before the Councilrpit received their unaminous
and the Mayor so declared the Council as adjourned.

The Clerk read a bill of the expense of the City General Election as held on Tuesday
April 5th and P. 1r.1.7.1.i.Collier the secretary had a notation that the cost of the election
:his ,year was $20.20 less than last years expense.The amount of the expense is K76.10.
Alderman S•ander3'mrde a motion that was seconded by Alderman Harding that the Bill be
allowed and the.Clerk be instructed to draw a warrant upon the General Fdnd for the
rayment of the same. Upon the questionB being put before the Council,it recetDved their
inous vote and the Mayor so declared and ordered.

-loners J.L.Slaughter & Fred Rouse of Curb & Gutter Improvement District No.38 and Pay
Improvement District No.39 filed protests against the lowering of the following proper
owners property in the above District9.J.T.Rosser reduced from $436.79 to J;100.00,
VI.S.Duggans reduced from 10516.72,H.E.Jackson reduced from 4$725.79 to },625.79.
Alderman Sanders made a motion that was seconded by Alderman Harding that the protests
as filed or anyothers that might be filed before the time of expiration would be heard
on ?.Monday April 18th,1932 and the Clerk be imstructed to notify the Commissioners and
Assessors of the time of the hearing.Upon the question being put before the Council,it
received their unaminous vote and the Ilfayor so declared and instructed the Clerk.
