Present: Mayor T.S.Tribble,City Clerk Wm.F.Dunn,City Attorney V.James Ptak,Chief of Police Neal Cruse,Aldermen Barr,Bynum,Heading,Sanders,Stanford,& Mages. Minutes of the regular meeting as held on March 7th,1932 were read and approved by the unaminous vote of the Council. Bills: The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Scott,Chairman of t e Auditing Committee,whereupon Alderman Harding made amotion that the bills be allowed asl read and approved and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants upon the proper funds f their payment.TJd)a ihbbion was seconded by Alderman Bynum.Upon the motion being put befo the Coup.cil,it received their unaminous vote and the Mayor so declared.Bills:Harold Brotherton p5.00,Z.A.Campbell $7.74,111inchester Market $2.80,Ben Porter $p18.75,Lem Guinn j $$3.0O,Shumate & Williams $30.00. snooker:) An ordinance to amend section one of ordinance No.734,passed an d approved on the 20th, I day of Apr&l 1931.This ordinance was the same as No.734 except that the word Snooker was Airpor i Plrotes I l stricken out.This ordinance vias lost for the want of an Alderman to intr6duce the same. :The question of letting someone have the airport to sew the same in grass and to use was left to the discretion of the Mayor to act.This was done by a motion by Alderman Harding and seconded by Alderman Wages and was passed by the unaminous vote of the Coun it ;Mr Cy Campbell appeared before the Council in behalf of himself and other property holy er of Improvement Districts No.38 & 39.He stated that as there had been considerable t in these districts that the same should be re -assessed but that they had been una to get the Commissioners of this Districts to call for an assessement therefore they as the advise or help of the Council in the Matter,whereupon Alderman Harding made a motion that was seconded by Alderman Sanders as follows:That the Commissioners of Curb & gutter District No.38 & Paving District No.39.be requested by the Council'to call the Assessors of these two Districts. and to have the same equitiably assessed and filed with the City Clerk according to the law.Upon the question being put before the Council,it received their unaminrus vote and the Mayor so declared. Culvert. The bids for putting in a rock culvert on Campbell street weme read as follows:Ralph Lehman ?129.50,Henry Barton $p125.00,H.C.Palmer $?164.25.After some discus�ion,it was the general opinion of the Council as there was not travel on this street that they did not I think it wise and justifiable to spend that amount of money for this culvertbut Alderma I Scottmade a motion that was seconded by Alderman Sanders that these bides be received I and filed for future reference.Upon the question being put before the Council,it receivm.d their unaminous vote and the Mayor so declared and ordered. Garbage ank:'Jnder a discussion as to whether the Council should buy a garbage tank,and if so what i the same was worth was finally left to the Mayor,who appointed'a committee of three to arrange for price,condition of tank and wagon,and to report their finding back to the Council on Monday March 21st,1932The Mayor appointed Aldermen Scott,Barr,& Harding. Alderman Sanders made a motion that the Council adjourn.This motion was seconded by Alderma I Stanford.Upon the question being put before the Council,it received their unaminous vote and the Mayor declared the Council as adjourned.
