A motion was made by Alderman Wages and seconded by Alderman Barr that the Council
ad,journ,upon the question being put before the Council,it received the unaminousvote
of the same and the mayor declared the Council as adjoutned.

Alderman Wages made a motion that these reports be received and the Clerk be instructe,
file the same in the proper manner.This motion was seconded by Alderman Bynum.Upon the
question being put before the Council,it received their unaminous vote and the Mayor s

Mr.Earl BAkes appeared before the Counciland asked permission to construct a drive ac
the side walk on the Ylest side of Rallston Street and across the walk on the north si
Dickson Street. A motion was made by Alderman Harding and seconded by Alderman Wages
Mr.Bates be granted this request and the work to.be done under the supervision of the
City Engineer.Upon the question being put before the Council,it received their una:hin
e and the Mayor so declared.
'ICE. Alderman Sanders introduced an ordinance entitled "An ordinance to authorizecondem
nation proceddings for the purpose of opening up a public street or roadway across the
tracts andpeadway right -a -way of the St.Louis-San Francisco Railway Company within the
:ity of Fayetteville,Arkansas."This ordinance was read the first t6mo in its entirety,
after the first reading Alderman Sanders made a motion that the rules be suspended and
the ordinance be place upon its second-reading.This motion was seconded by.Alderman
Stanford.Upon the question being put before the Council,the following vote resulted.
Ayes Alderman Barr,Bynum,Harding,Sanders,Scott,Stanford,Wages. Nays None Absent and no
none.The Mayor declared the motion as carried and instructed the Clerk to read
the ordinance the second time.The Clerk then read the ordinance the second time in its
ntirety.The ordinance was left on its second reading.Alderman Sanders then made the
suggestion that the City Attorney mail a copy of the ordinance to Supt.Cantrell.The Ci
Attorney stated that he had mailed a copy of the ordinance to Supt.Cantrell.
�:Mr.Jim Lester was present and presented his itemized bill against the City for Taxi h
to the amount of ten dollars and arrest fees to the amount of six dollars.After an
,explanation both by the Mayor and Idr.Lester,a motion was made by Alderman Sanders and

seconded by Alderman Bynum that the Clerk be instructed to draw a warrant upon the
general fund. for ten ddllars and Mr.Lester was refferred to the Police Judge and Chief f
Police as to his arrest fees.Upon the question being put before the Council,it received
their unaminous vote.and the Mayor so declared.
Alderman Sanders made a motion that was seconded by Alderman Wages that the Council. adj,urn.

Mayor declared the motion as Passed and the Council as adjourned.
