FAYETTEVILLE CITY COUNCIL MET IN REGULAR SESSION ON MONDAY DECEMBER 28th 1931
Present: Mayor Pro.Tem.J.F.Stanford,City Clerk V;hn.F.Dunn,City Attorney V.James Ptak,Chief of Police
t Neal Cruse,Aldermen Barr,Bynum,Harding,Sanders,Scott,& Wages.
Minutes If the regular meeting as held on December 21st.were read and approved by the unaminous
Note of the entire Council.
Bills; The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Scott ,Chairman of the
iAuditing Committee,whereupon a motion was made by Alderman Bynum that the bills be allowed
as approved and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants upon the proper funds for their
payment.This maotin was seconded by Alderman Harding.Upon the question being put before
the Council,it received their unaminous vote and the Mayob Pro.Tem so declared.Bills;

A.C.Bodin: The protest of Mr.Bodine in regard to his assessement as assessed by the Assessors in
(Improvement District No.31.was heard and compared and after this was discussed a motion
lwas made by Alderman Bynum that the assessment of Mr.Bodine be reduced from $200.00 to
�$150.0O.This maotin was seconded by Alderman Sanders.Upon the motion being put before the
ICouncil,it received their unaminous vote and the Mayor Pro.Tem so declared.
Mr.EarllBates was present and explained his condition as existed on North College Avenue at hire
Istore located at the entrance to City Park Addition.A recommendation or rather a report
lof the City Engineer was read in regard to the same.whereupon a motion was made by
Alderman Harding and seconded by Alderman Wages that the report of the City Engineer be,
'accepted and filed.Upon the question being put before the Council,it received their
unaminous vote and was so declared by the Mayor Pro.Tem. Mr.Bates was informed that thie
was really up to the Commissioners of the District No.31 and asked Mr.Bates to confer with
them in regard to this matter and get an estimate of the Cost as outlined.
A request was read from Dr.D.Y.Thomas asking that a grade for a sidewalk be established
in front of lots 53 to 59 Block 1 University Addition,whereupon a motion was made by
,Alderman Wages and seconded by Alderman Bynum that the City Engineer be instructed to
establish grade as desired by Dr.Thomas.Upon the question being put before the Council,
it received thA&r unaminous vote and was so ordered by the Mayor Pro.Tem.

A motion was made by Alderman Sanders,seconded by Alderman Wages that the Council adjourn.
Upon the question being put it received their unaminous vote and the Mayor Pro,Tem so
declared the Councilas adjourned.
