FAYETTEVILLE CITY .COUNCIL MEY IN REGULAR SESSION ON MONDAY DECEMBER 7TH 1931.
PRESENT, Mayor T.S.Tribble,City Clerk Wm.F.Dunn,City Attorney V.James Ptak,City Engineer E.M.Ratliff,
Chief of Police Neal Cruse,Aldermen Barr,Bynum,Harding,Saott,Stanford & Wages.Absent Alderme

MINUTES of regular session as held on November 30th 1931 were read and approved by the unaminous vote of t
Council.
BILLS: The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Scott of the Auditing
icommittee,whereupon Alderman Bynum made a motion that was seconded by Alderman Harding that the
bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants upon the proper fid
for the payment of the same. Upon the question being put before the Council it received their unaminc
vote and the Mayor so declared.Bills.Fayetteville Republic r10.25,.Electric Service Co.,

REPORTSI The monthly reports of Mayor T.S.Tribble as City Purchasing Agent,Wm.F.Dunn as City Clerk,
M.Cunningham as City Collec,tor.,J.M.Phillips as Police Judge,Neal.Cruse as Chief of Police,
Clyde Walters As Fire Chief were read in their entirety and a motion was made by Alderman Scott
and seconded by Alderman Bynum that the reports be accepted as read and the Clerk be instructed
to file the same in their proper manner. Upon the question being put before the Council,it
received their unaminous vote and the Mayor so declared.
MAj.B.R,Davidson: The Ordinance committee reporetd their findings in the investigation of whether
Mr.B.R.Davidson was paying taxes on land ,where the same was taxed in both districts.Alderman
Wages of the Ordinance read their findings accompained by a.copy of a letter as written to
N.r.B.R.Davidson by City Engineer E.M.Ratliff and their recommendations were that the assessment
was correct and regular and that the assessment be left as assessed by the Assessors,whereupin
Alderman Bynum made a motion that the report of the Committee be accepted and that the Clerk[
file the same for future reference.This motion was madended by Alderman Scott.Upon the question being
put before the Council the following Alderman voted Aye.Barr,Bynum,Harding,Scott,Stanford,
& Wages.Nays None. Absent and not voteing Pearson & Sanders. The Mayor declared the motion ae
ar
passed and the Clerk was instructed to file report.
Alderman Harding made a motion that the Council adjourn.Alderman B num secondsht a motion.
Upon the Question being put before the Council,it received their unaminous vote.and the Mayor
declared the Council as adjourned.
