anrroved by the unaminous vote of the Council.
BILTjS: The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman SGott. Cha. irman of the
Auditing Cornnittee,whereupon P,10.6a.man Harding made a motion that the bills be allowed as
approved and the Clerk be :instructed to draw warrants upon the proper funds for their
payment.This motion was seconded by, Alderman Bynum.Ul,(-jn the question beihC put before the �

ORDI'ANE: Alderman Stanford introduced an ordinance entitled"An Ordinance authori.zeing the Board of'I,
Public Affairs of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas, to award a contract for the purchase
of fire hose for the City Fire Department"This ordinance was read the first time.A motion
was made by Alderman H£;rd.ing and seconded by Alderman Byntun that the rules be suspended. an(!
the Ordinance be placed upon its second reading.Upon the motion being put before the Council

In the ordinance for drivers of motor cars did not confirm with the age limit as set oub in
the liabilti.y insurance policys whereupon Alderman Harding made a motion that the City attoz�-

Ir'.r.Jim Phillips was before the Council and presented several proposals for trade in on the
City truck. 17r.Phil lips represented Abshire-Bryan Eotor Co.Iio Action vias taken but: the bids or
proposals were held and filed.

YARD Q_%FL'EIT CONTEST, A motion was made by Alderman Stanford: and seconded by Alderman Scott that the
Clerk be instructed to draw a warrant for ~25.00 as a donation to the Yard & Garden Contest
Committee.Upon the question being nut before the Council the same carried unaminously
and the Mayor so declared and the Clerk was instructed.
A motion was made by Alderman Scott that the Council adjourn.This was seconded by Alderman
