BILTjS: The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman SGott. Cha. irman of the Auditing Cornnittee,whereupon P,10.6a.man Harding made a motion that the bills be allowed as approved and the Clerk be :instructed to draw warrants upon the proper funds for their payment.This motion was seconded by, Alderman Bynum.Ul,(-jn the question beihC put before the � i Council it received t:hetr unaminous vote and the Eayor so declared. Bills: Sou Lhwesyern Sell Telephone Co.ti;35.71,Judge Phillips 4.1.0O.Ben Porter „18.75,Jojpn Zillah %.50.00,Shumate & I l'illiams $30.00.. i ORDI'ANE: Alderman Stanford introduced an ordinance entitled"An Ordinance authori.zeing the Board of'I, Public Affairs of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas, to award a contract for the purchase of fire hose for the City Fire Department"This ordinance was read the first time.A motion was made by Alderman H£;rd.ing and seconded by Alderman Byntun that the rules be suspended. an(! the Ordinance be placed upon its second reading.Upon the motion being put before the Council lit received their unaminous vote and the Mavor so declared.The Ordinance vias read the second. time and left on its second reading.
