Absent.Alderman Pearson. Iv:INUTES of the regular meeting of the City Council as held on October 5th,1931 were read and approve4 by the Unaminous vote of the Council as present. BILLS: The Clerk then read the bills as approved by the Chairman of the Auditing Committee Alderma Scott, whereupon Alderman Harding made a motion that, the bills be allowed as approved and the i 7.P.Iri. Alderman Barr made a motion that the City Council meet at 7.P.M. hereafter until changed This ?.4.aotion was seconded by Alderman Sanders. Upon the question being put,it received the following vote.Ayes Alderman Barr,Bynum,Harding,Sanders.Iie.ys.Alderman Scott,Stanford,17ages. The mayor declared the motion as carried as there were 4 Ayes & 3 Nays. and the time of meeting of the Council in the future until changed 'to be 7.P.M. instead of 7.30 P.M. A motion that the Council adjourn was made by Alderman Sanders.This motion was seconded by Alderman Scott.Upon the question being put,it carried unaminously and the Iviayor declared thee' Council as adjourned. BILLS: REPORTS 'The following bills were presented after being approved by Alderman Harding of the Auditing Committee and a motion was made by Alderman Bynum that the bills be allowed as approved and City Clerk be instructed to draw warrants upon the proper funds for the payment of the same. I The City Engineer Emett Ratliff made a report that it was impractiable for Spence Rogers to' make sewer connections at his property neer Wall Street and recommended that he be allowed to put in septic tank. A motion was made by Alderman Sanders and seconded by Alderman Bynum that this report be accepted and filed and that Clerk notify Mr.Rogers of the Action taken and also that I+Ir.Tollett be informed that if he so desired that he could connect on this septic tank. I I if approved by Mir.Rogers. Upon the questioon being put before the Council,it carried unaminously and4 the Clerk was instructed to notify the parties concerned of this fact.
