Tribble,City Clerk C?m.F.Dunn,City Attorney V.Jarles Ptak,City Engineer E.M.Ratliff, and Alderman Baer,Bynum,Harding,Pearson,Sanders,Scott,Stanford,a Tagess the regular meeting of the Fayetteville City Council as held on Sept.7th,1931 were read and approved by the unaminous vote of the City Council. The following bills were presented after their approval by Alderman Scott,Chairman of the Auditing Commmtee,and a motion was made by Alderman Harding that the bilis be allowed as approved and the Clerk be instructed to draw warrants upon their proper funds for their payment.This motion was seconded by Aldeeman Sanders and upon the question being put before the Council it received their unaminous vote and was so ordered by the Mayor .Bills as follois Southwesj:ern Gas a Electric Co. $520.00,Southwestern Bell Teleph(4ne Co.w29.83,Till Cohes V. Harper Broom I?orks '15.00,Shumate a Williamsj30.00,Lem Guinn,$5.00,John Zillah le25, Magnolia Petrole Co y46.09 a $40.00,fien Porter Q18.75,Southwewtern Gaw a Elec.Co.{$23.29. ,A The yearly finiancial report of Mt.Nord Improvement District was read by the Clerk and after the reading of the same Alderman Scott made a motion that this report be received and I I accepted as read and the Clerk be instructed to file the same in its proper manner.This mot was seconded by Alderman I%iages. Upon the question being put,it received the unaminous vote of the Council and was so declared by the payor. INTEREST. A letter was read by the Clerk .from the Mcllroy Bank a Trust Co.in which they made an iteraized statement of interest due to date on overdraft warrants which amounted to 5;561.47. and the Clerk Alderman Scott made a motion that this amount be allowed aceeYel#xig-t& be instructed to draw a. warrant for this amount from the General Fund for the payment of the same. This motion was seconded by Alderman Sanders and upon the question being put it received the unaminous vote of the Council and was so ordered by the Mayor, I I CUTTIITG I CURBS a letter was read from LIrs.J.D.Fiilliams asking permission to cut the Curb om Highland, Avenue for a driveway. A letter was read from DE.A.M.Harding asking permission tp out the .i Icurb on Tashington Avenue and Last Lafayette Avenue .for a driveway. A motion was made by Alderman Harding that these two requests be granted,same to be done under the supervision of the City Engineer.This motion was seconded by Alderman Barr.Upon the question being p>at I it received the unaminous vote of the Council and was so declared by the Iviayor. CURB P IPS: Under the discussion of curb pumps and their taxation a. motion was made by Alderman I Sanders that the Ordinance Committee with the co-operation oft the City Attorney meet and draft an ordinance and present the same to the Council on Sept.21,1931 for their acceptance or rejection.This motion was seconded by Alderman Harding.Upon the question beingi put,it received the unaminous vote of the Council and they were so instructed by the Iiayor.l Alderman Scott made a motion that the Council Adjourn.this motion was seconded by Alderman, Sanders and upon the question being put,it carried unaminously,and the Liayor declared the Council as adjourned.
