PRESENT*' Mayor T.S.Tribble,City Clerk i"m.F.Dunn,dity Attorney V.James Ptak,City Engineer E.i+i.Ratliff MINUTES BILLS: Alderman Barr,Bynum,Harding,Pearson,Sanders,Scott,Stanford & 77ages. of the regular meeting held on July 27th 1931 were read and approved as read by the unaminou vote of the Council. The following bills were presented after being properly approved by Alderman Scott,Chairman Auditing Committee.and a motion was made by Alderman Harding that the bills be allowed andth Clerk instructed to drae warrants upon the proper funds for their payment.This motion was seconded by Alderman Sanders.Upon the question being put before the Council it received the unaminous vote and was declared as passed and their pngnent so orderedby the Mayob.Bills as follows:Fayetteville Printing Co.$14.50,Geo.Ballard $2.50,E.A.Budd $20.35,Lewi3 Bros Co.$7.45, J.,E.Moore Sheet L;etal Co.577.50,Fayetteville Repair Shop $0.65,Lottie Tollett $8.00,Ben Porter $18.75,T.JSargent $1.25,Tom Carson $13.75,Henry Vaughn $2.50,Kelley Bros Co.$1.50& $12.00, provide Bill Elkins$8.75,J.17.Shelley $2.00,Thomas & Son$10.50,Shumate & Williams F30.00,Lewis Bros I Ipurposes.It was Chevrolet Co.4.;5.25,Abshier Bryan I4.Co.$35.55,Heerwagen the first time.Al.derman Bros.$5.87,Suttle Service Station$6'.19, motion thet ,Lewis Bros $2.85 &$0.92,.John Zillah $10.00. REPORTS;The following monthly reports were read.iriayor T.S.Tribble,City Clerk V1,,1.F.Dunn,City Colle M.Cunningham,Police Judge J.14.Phillips.The Street Cleaner reported 166 blocks of City paved streets cleaned during.the week. A motion was made by Alderman Wages. and seconded by Alderm Harding that the reports be accepted as read and the Clerk file the.sape in their proper man Upon the question_ being put before the Council it carried unaminously and was so ordered by the Mayors ORDINANCEIderman Pearson introduced the following Ordinance to be entitled"An Ordinance to prohibit operation of a motor vehicile for a period of one year after being convicted of driving an ,automobile while in an intoxicated condition and to provide the penalty therefore and for I Ipurposes.It was read the first time.Al.derman Harding made a motion thet the rules be suspe WASTE Pi and the Ordinance be place upon its second reading.This was seconded by Alderman Wages.Upon the question being put it received the following vote.Ayes Alderman Barr,Bynum,Hatding,Pears Sanders,Scott,Stanford,V!ages.Ilays None.Absent & not voting None. time.It was left on its second reading. the 6 er The Ordinance was read the se.con PFR CANS: A Motion was made by Alder•manHarding that the Mayor be given the authority to lease the waste paper cans for a period of one year for.advertiseing purposes for 'thy sum he could) obtain not less than $50.00 per year.Alderman Wages seconded the Motion. Upon the motion be ng put it carried Vnaminously and the Mayor so declared. Alderman Scott made a.motion that the Council Adjourn this motion was seconded by Alderman Sanders and upon the question being put it carried unaminously and the Mayor so declared the Council as adjourned.
