THF: MINU FS of t' -e Meeting of February 23rd, 1931 were read abd approved. , i THF FOLL17ING BILLS against the City,properly approved, were allowed and ordered paid and the Clerk w s i - I erected to issue warrants for the same on motion by Alderman Ha.rding,seconded by Alderman i � • Stephens,passed by the unanimous vote of the members present,and so declared by the Mayor; F.H.Hefflefinger $10.50; Henry Paisley $13.50;Suttle Service Station $'10.80; Otis Parker 11.75;Fayetteville Drug Comapny '2.50; Heerwagen Brothers Comapny $114.75; J.l'I.Shelly $42.50; J.L.Irwin $5.00;Tom Carson $13.50; Allan Strain 5$3.75;Ben Porter $18.75; Sam Delozier $$10.00; Fayetteville -Lumber and Cement Comapny, $21.30; REPORTS:I The Weekly report of the Street Cleaner, showing 203 blocks cleaned during the k,and the monthly reports of the Purchasing Agent, City Collettor, City Clerk, Police Judge, Fire Chief were presented and on motion by Alderman Harding, seconded by Aldr.rman Bynum, sed by the unanimous vol. of the members present and so declared by the Mayor,were ordered epted and filed. POND OF I The Bond,as Plumber, of Wilbur D. Lance was presented and on motion duly pass VID LANCE: -✓as referred to the City Attorney for inspection and report. COM, ON I A communication from City Engineer Ratliff suggesting the appointment of a OUARTF;RS : committee to act with the Water Board on the matter of securing new quarters for the City $nd Water offices was read the the Council,whereupon Alderman Bynum moved that the Mayor appoint such Committee. This motion was duly passed,and the Mayor appointed as said Commit LASE OF AVIATION FIELD STR77T CLEANING 'SCARLET FFV7R CASE: John Bynum, R.E.' ,7ages and Clem Pearson. A proposition for leasing the original Aviation Field for a golf course was sented,and on motion duly passed was referred to the City Attorney for investigation and t. A petition protesting against the use of the Street Sweeper,and requesting t steps he taken to provide a better method for cleaning the streets was Presented,and fter discussion, the Finance Committee was directed to investigate the matter of financing purchase of a street Flusher,and report. Mr Herman Tuck was present and requested the Council to provide for taking c a Mrs M,unsen ( name uncertain) who is ill of Scarlet Fever, After considerable discussion Harding moved that the Mayor and the Health Officer be,and they are hereby, uthorized to render the needed assistance in the case of Mrs Munsen (name uncertain), who ick with Scarlet Fever. This motion was seconded by Alderman Scott and received the followi'. ote; ayes Aldermen Bynum, Fuller, Harding, Pearson, Scott, Stephens,Clages; nays none, absen nd not voting Alderman Stanford,and was declared passed by the Mayor.
