Cruse, Aldermen John Bynum, Don Fuller, C.T.Hard.ing, Clem Pearson, Roy Scott IJ.F.Stanford, S.S.Stephens, Ti.E.1'Igges. THF MINIIT?S of the meeting of Februaryl6,1931 were read and approved. THE FOLLOWING BILLS against the City,properly approved, were allowed and ordered Paid and the Clerk wa directed to issue warrants for the same on motion by Alderman Harding, seconded by Alderman j Fuller, passed by the unanimous vote of the Council and so declared. by the Mayor;- UBRISH The Mayor reported having inspected the rubbish north of the Confederate Cemetery,and . of Con, emetery; expressed the opinion that it could not be successfully covered with earth without incurring an expense beyond the limits of any advisable sum,considering the financial condition of the City. RB PUMPS Jack:Hipht applied for permission to install two curb pumps on Mountain Street at they IGHT: I entrance to his Storage Building. Alderman Harding moved that permission be granted,subjectl Ito the approval of the City Engineer and the City Ordinances thereto p ertaining. This j lley The Mayor reported that the Southwestern Gas & Electric Company had agreed to install Lights; - needed fixtures free,and replace out lights without cost to the City for labor, if the City 17ALKS : would pay for the globes. This j motion was seconded by Alderman Scott, passed by the unanimous vote of the Council and so declared by '-he Mayor. 'ATSON STR.
