ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANSAS,HrLD DECEMBER
31st, 1930.
Pursuant to ad,journment,the City Council of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas
in the Council.chamber at 7:30 P.M. of December 31st,1930,when there were present; -
The Mayor T.S.Tribble, Clerk J.C.Massie, Attorney V.James Ptak, Aldermen John Bynum, Don
fuller, C.T.Harding, Clem Pearson, Roy Scott, J.F.Stanford, S.S.Stephens; absent Alderman
R.r.1'!ages. The reading of the minutes was deferred to the next regular meeting.
PURPOS[: The purpose of the meeting as stated by the Mayor,was to hold the hearing of the
petition to form an improvement district for the purpose of paving a pottion of South Scho
Avenue,which said petition had been duly filed with the Council. Public notice of said hearin
having been given by publication of notice in the Fayetteville Daily Leader,according to law.
Opportunity was given to all persons who wished to be heard for or against the
of said District. The Council then proceeded to investigate the petition to ascertain
Inot the same was signed by the majority in assessed. value of the owners of real property w
the limits of the district as set forth in said petition. It appearing from such investigat
that the totla assessed valuation of all real property within said described district is
sum of $23,530.00,and that the assessed valuation of the real property within said distric

owned by those persons who had signed said petition is the sum of $13,460.00,the City Attorney
was authorized and directed by the Council to prepare an Ordinance setting forth the foregoing
facts,creating the district,naming the same and appointing a Board of Improvement therefor,
said ordinance to be presented to the Council at its next regular meeting to be held on the
5th day of January,19:7)1.
No further business appearing, the Council adjourned on motion
duly passed.
