not votingnone,and was declared passed by the Mayor./Alderman Scott then moved that the

Rules be further suspended and the ordinance placed on its third reading and final passage.

voting none,and was declared passed by the Mayor. The Ordinance was read the third time. !
The Mayor then announced that the question before the Council is shall the ordinance
pass,and called for the vote on its passage which resulted as follows, ayes Aldermen Bynum,
Fuller, Harding, Pearson, ;cott, Stanford, Stephens, Wages; nays None,; absent and not
voting none. The Mayor declared the ordinance passed.
The ordinance above referred to is recorded in Ordinance Book II at nage 4a thereof.

On motion by Alderman Bynum,seconded by Alderman Scott ,that the clerk be and is
directed to issue a warrant in the sum of ?$75.00 payable to the Litterel Canning Company,as
the pledged part of the
expense of constructing a bridge on North Street

so ordered, the vote_on the motion being Ayes Aldermen

Alderman Scott
moved that the Clerk be and is directed to issue
warrants as
follows;
one warrant for $75.46,on the Hospital Fund,Alley Improvement tax on lot
onr warrant for 126.98 on Street Fund, Alley Improvement Tax on lots 13,14,block
lots 8.9.10, 'dock 29.

Alderman Harding se conded the motion which reccived the following

and was declared passed by the M ayor.
The further consideration of the resolution levying the City Taxes for 1930 was
up at this time,and after full discussion by members of the Council,Alderman Scott moved thel
adoption of the resolution.This motion was seconded by Alderman Harding and received the
following vote; ayes Aldermen Bynum, Fuller, Harding, Scott, Stanford, Stephens, Wages; Pearsol
nays none,and was declared passed by the Mayor,athe resolution adopted. A copy is as follows; -
